375 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 13th at 3:49 PM Matthew Kliparchuk From this weeks Q&A While it may be possible to install Adobe AIR on Linux and use the AIR version available on the Downloads page, my colleague suspects that's a whole lot of effort. Also, I'm not sure Linux still supports Adobe AIR. They recommend trying a compatibility layer like Wine (https://www.winehq.org/) on the .exe in the "Windows Zip" option on the Downloads page.
350 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 14th at 5:05 AM phagras The version of Air available for GNU/Linux is too old to play the game. I did try Wine but it didn't work although I'm far from an expert and it might work with some tweaking.

Unfortunately my answer is as Matthew Kliparchuk quoted from the Q&A. The DL uses Adobe AIR which doesn't have a compatible version for Linux, so the best option is to see if you can run it via some compatibility layer or other way of running Windows programs on Linux. Would appreciate hearing any other suggestions from the Linux using Bush Whackers!
350 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 21st at 9:02 AM phagras Wine 6 was released last week so I tried it again on a fresh install of Mint 20 and it now works. I used the following guide to install Wine because the version in Mint's repository is still 5: https://computingforgeeks.com/how-to-install-wine-on-ubuntu-linux-mint-desktop/ I used the standalone client from the zip file: https://bushwhacker2.djartsgames.ca/~bushwhacker2/downloads/BushWhacker2.zip
