Remember that BW2 is going to move to its new permanent home on games.codenameentertainment.com at the end of the year. All Kongregate and Facebook players must migrate their accounts by 11:59 PM PDT on Sat 31st October to continue playing BW2. Remember to log-in and transfer your account to continue your adventure!

You have to make the account as passwords are case sensitive

63 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 31st 2020 at 3:09 AM Wackalott Ah I see sometimes when you make an email account THAT needs to be verified also ie 2 set authentication another email or phone number...soooo much confusion for me also. Hope Nick can help you or someone else can.
372 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 31st 2020 at 8:21 AM phagras Eric, if you've forgotten the password for your original email address then you should be able to reset it. If you can't do that then you'll need to create a new one and then update all your online accounts to use that instead. And Nick can update the CNE account you created with the new address for you if you email him as above from the new email address with the name and old email address of the account you created.

336 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 31st 2020 at 12:41 PM Last Edited October 31st 2020 at 1:05 PM ERIC1342 I made my facebook account a LONG time ago for a game that no longer exists, "power planets" is was a simple little sort-of economy-based,world blinding simulation, kind-of like "sim-city" or the like but like a entire little world that you could make into like say ether a futuristic,Eco-friendly paradise or a industrial nightmare it was a neat little game... anyway after I logged-on on that I latter found out that I cloud play other games that where on facebook and I've been using facebook like that ever since with the same facebook account(that this forum is using in my case)even after we changed our email address and all that stuff. and like I said I don't have a e-mail thing setup.

Edit: that felt good... sorry nick I just.. I can't get the e-mail thing to work yahoo is being a pain in ass... but for reals can't you just move my account data and bypass the e-mail stuff ?

If Yahoo! is playing you up try Google or outlook.com. What are you going to do when something else requires an email address? By not setting up an email address for yourself you're creating all sorts of problems for the future far worse than being unable to transfer a game so fix it now. It would have taken less effort than it's taken you to complain in here.

Or if you have some philosophical opposition to an ongoing email account, then use one of the many temporary ones that are available, though be aware if you do that you'll never be able to use it again if there are issues later with your account. Phagras & Whackalott we don't know where Eric hails from and he may not have access to some of the requirements for a gmail or outlook email nowadays, which can include the requirement for a backup communication method such as a mobile (cell) phone, or a secondary email account for authentication. I agree that Nick can't compromise the security of the system in this case, but there may be a workaround that none of us know about.
336 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 2nd 2020 at 10:44 AM Last Edited November 2nd 2020 at 10:49 AM ERIC1342 I don't use e-mail and I never changed the given email address on this stuff because I had no NEED to ,for e-mail stuff I have "Thunderbird Mail" I set-up a e-mail account(under the "address" I gave for this stuff)on it I'm using the default(and ONLY) "Outgoing Server" that it's giving me "Yahoo! Mail - smtp.mail.yahoo.com(default)" witch is being a pain in ass as of now.
