Cannot log into game or site
6 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 15th 2020 at 9:06 PM Michael Mogensen Hi, I have tried on 3 different browsers on different computing devices, but I cannot log into the game or the games.codenameentertainment.com web site. I do not get any error messages, just the button grayed out. The only thing I can successfully do is post here. Is it possible that my account is somehow invalid?

6 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 15th 2020 at 10:35 PM Michael Mogensen An excellent suggestion. Alas, when I tried it on all browsers, the behavior is the same. When I use my login and password correctly, it simply won't let me in.
305 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 15th 2020 at 11:05 PM Kate (aquafishy) interesting, I would create a restore point, and check to see if you recently updated windows, and if so, try a roll back. If not, uninstall and reinstall adobe air.
6 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 15th 2020 at 11:13 PM Michael Mogensen I've been thinking back, and I haven't been able to log into the website in over a month. The app was fine because I was stored in it. I thought it was a problem with my browser logging me out randomly. I actually had to roll back my system to an image I created nearly 2 years ago when last night's Windows update completely failed. I've been testing the login with each round of patches, and on my phone as well. They've all failed, sadly.
305 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 15th 2020 at 11:16 PM Kate (aquafishy) I would next try updating to the most current windows update, fully, then uninstalling adobe air and it's related frameworks, then reinstalling. If it doesn't work after that, ticket Nick.

It could also be your Firewall or Windows Defender Smartscreen, you need to give permission for. Instructions are on the blog.

It goes to the loading screen and the different tabs are there like Play Now! Forum etc but the loading screen itself is just a blank black box. I read your solutions above but not one of them made any sense to me. As a sidetone, game was fine until my Mac did an automatic update. That might have changed something, but I haven't a clue how to figure it out :-(

I was (finally) able to change it, and access the web site and the app again. I appreciate everyone's efforts to help me find a solution. See you in game!
