Cassius335At the moment, I'm still working through the LAST update, though kicking the level cap up another 5 is definately appreciated.

Shahrokh M.Last Edited March 22nd 2012 at 2:31 PM I'm on the fence. Yes, thanks go out to the devs for the huge update; that was much appreciated.
But I find two issues with it: 1 - Wind is weak to normal moves (ie. every damn guardian learns a normal move and you don't have to actually need a normal type to cover that base) 2 - Needing 5 jelly beans in the place of one friend is quite high, especially for those of us who have 2 friends actively playing the game... Edit: 3 - Weren't there supposed to be 10 new guardians? I count 8 (and that's including the normal Puffer) |

Nate DauerIf a bunch of people rush online to explore a certain thing all at once, it creates enormous lag on the servers. It should come as no surprise, then, that the desert won't work perfectly for everyone in the immediate days following its release. Personally, I generally avoid brand new areas in games for the first one or two days after their release for this exact reason.

Sam Erickson"1 - Wind is weak to normal moves (ie. every damn guardian learns a normal move and you don't have to actually need a normal type to cover that base)"
Thats not really much of an issue. Granted yes all guardians learn at least a few normal attacks, but many non normal types have low physical attack meaning they will do very little damage anyway. You still need a high attacker (zaatango, fengal, Hpuffer for example) to do a large amount of damage to them. "3 - Weren't there supposed to be 10 new guardians? I count 8 (and that's including the normal Puffer)" I assure you there are indeed 10 (not including evolutions) |

ZoeyNightshadeAlso, what's wind STRONG against? For now, they are rather useless.

Shahrokh M.I didn't say it was a huge issue but it is an issue nonetheless, epsecially when it comes to the fact that there are guardians with balanced proportions in their attack stats (ie. Bhadington or TskTsk) that will now essentially be powerful against Wind types as well as the ones against which they are already effective.
In simple terms, TskTsk is now effective against Fire, Rock, and Wind while the new guardian Snippy, due to his terrible attack, is essentially only effective against water types. This is where the issue appears. Wooter, Whirly, Mozzy, Snippy, Turtli, Clayper, Puffer, Lizzy. Assuredly, if I'm not mistaken, that makes 8. Am I missing any? |

Benedikt AlbertYes you are. BunBun at least.
On topic: Thanks devs, great update again. I'm only a bit disappointed, that you did not address the capture level. That makes all those new captures feel so terrible (for me at least, but I'm probably not alone). There are so many ways to deal with this and they are all relatively easy to implement. Can you please think of this for the next small update? |

Askari AddisonI also want to thank the developers. You guys did a great job. A couple of comments:
1. Thank you for fixing the bug where wind was not weak against normal. Whirlin and it's evolution tree were extremely overpowered the first day. Now they're just overpowered. 2. Wind should have a type advantage. The extremely high special attack makes up for this now, but it really would make sense to be strong against rock, or a new element you implement. 3. BunBun lacks a database slot. This is also minor, but it sort of peeves me that I captured something that's unlisted. 4. @Shahrock: Actually having Tukker now, I would say that you need a strong attack normal Guardian to fight wind effectively. Tukker can defeat them, but I wouldn't say anything short of H. Feng, Squilly or Puffer's lines are very effective against Wind. Reckless strike being the exception, but I still switch to H. Fengal if I face wind types. |
