10 Posts	Link to post - Posted June 6th 2020 at 7:06 AM CNEweatherly23 For some reason, ever since the Summer Sport event went live, the "Return" system (both the button and the ranch portal) doesn't acknowledge The Mysterious Forest as a whacking level to return to. Since I use the one-energy-bushes as a way to collect quest items and mana with less energy used this is rather annoying, so I'd like to know if this is a bug or intentional.

When there is a quest like this it's less of a hassle for the majority of players to not to lose the last field they are playing. That's my guess.

The system is weighted so you're better off whacking the highest level bushes, plus that means you're progressing through the map. Whacking level 1 bushes just means you'll need to whack more of them to get your items.
10 Posts	Link to post - Posted June 6th 2020 at 3:16 PM CNEweatherly23 I've found that Level 1 bushes have the same chance of giving mana as highest level bushes, so I mainly do it for that. Besides, thanks to Freddy's House from the Spring event, my current highest is higher than the last main area I can reach at the moment, so quest item chance is currently equal between Level 1 and my highest main area, so using 1 energy at a time with the same quest item drop chance works better.

One of the event quests has part of its quest chain located in The Mysterious Forest, so for the duration of the event it counts as an event area, which are exempt from being Return locations. Still kinda sucks, but code is code.
