Kite_samaI think theres something wrong in this, if i use Drip and my oponent Bop, the damage calculation should be the same, but instead i see i do every time less and less damage even if i use Drip, DEVS can you check this? i think this should be see it and investigated furthermore.
Thanks. |

Askari AddisonAgreed. Although I don't have a high level gebble to compare the special defense vs. the special attack of tsktsk, I think gebble might have a stronger special defense.

Mason Kongaha are you talking about your TskTsk and the opponents Geble? cause if you are i'm having the same problem. Mostly in the Burning Forest or something(Place were you catch Bhadington).

Benedikt AlbertLast Edited March 21st 2012 at 12:09 AM This is not a bug, this is because of the formula that is used. I've posted that a while ago: http://forum.djartsgames.ca/?thread_id=1727
If you have the following scenario: Gebble: Special Defense: 70 TskTsk: Special Attack: 70 The start of the battle would be: (2 * 70 - 70) * 11 * 1.5 * R / 16 => 61 - 83 damage After 5 rounds the damage would be: (2 * 55 - 55) * 11 * 1.5 * R / 16 => 48 - 65 damage After 10 rounds: (2 * 40 - 40) * 11 * 1.5 * R / 16 => 35 - 47 damage You can easily see, why this is: Because Special Attack (it's the same for Attack) get's doubled in the calculation. If you reduce Attack and Defense by the same amount, the damage sinks (that is for Drip of course; Bop damage stays the same in that scenario). This is neither a bug, nor bad design. Lowering or increasing attack has just more effect than lowering or increasing defense (just like lowering or increasing speed has almost no effect at all). |
