I've been seeing a lot of mixed feelings about how this talent works. Or rather, the implications of it's effect. Personally, I'm fine with it as-is, but many others seem to really be bothered by the loss of chests. Would a simple fix to this just be awarding the player X amount of chests upon starting the objective? Assuming the talent is maxed, that's 20 boss areas, so upon starting a free play, the game rolls 20 "chest checks" and awards the player with silver/jeweled chests based on the results of those roles. To keep things nice and neat, maybe the game could have a notification at the bottom that says "Phase Skip has produced 9 Silver Chests and 1 Jeweled Chest!"

I don't get this talent, honestly. Yes, you skip some areas, but the amount is negligible (anyone that can max it reaches area 3000+ already), Sprint Mode is more than enough to fast-forward through the first areas, and the several billion idols that maxing it would take are much better spent elsewhere. I'll only start leveling it once I have maxed basically everything else (which would take years already...)

The purpose of the talent is to speed up the process of setting up your formation. Starting on area 50 means I can set up my entire formation in less then 2 minutes. Previously, using sprinting from area 5 meant it took me around 5 minutes to fully set everything up. The skipping of areas isn't meant to really speed up the run as a whole. That's what sprinting is for. Skipping is just for initial setup.

Since I have several-billion idols anyway, I was able to get Montage Training up to level 53 instantly, two levels of Arithmagician, and 8 levels of Marathon Sprint while still having leftover idols to spend to get Phase Skip to level 10. It should definitely be the last talent to be maxed, but to ignore it ENTIRELY is just dumb. I mean, I'm getting 600-800M idols per reset, which means just one or two resets is enough to get the talent to level 10 and start at area 50. It's cheap, so why not? It's not exactly a huge investment, and it's SUPER useful for cutting my setup time in less than half.

The thing I don't get is how SOOOOO many people have entirely missed the point of the talent. It's not that complicated, people. Two words: Faster setup. And it isn't even expensive, so why does everyone hate the talent? If you're at a point where you even CAN buy it, you should be able to get it to level 5 at least and make those idols back within a day. Two, at pessimistic most.
