Several crusaders (like Mindy or RoboTurkey) have an effect that randomly effects the crusaders around them every 15 seconds or so.
What if you had a crusader that simply changed the percentages on the likelyhood of that effect happening to it?

For example, it could have a DEFLECT upgrade that decreased the probability of it being struck by a random ability by 50%. That way you could place it next to, say, Mindy, and still have a full formation, while increasing the chance she'd hit the crusader you were hoping for.

Additionally, you could have a ATTRACT upgrade that could increase the chance of being hit by a random ability. This would be super helpful on objectives with restrictions like "randomly kills one of your crusaders once every fifteen seconds," or "debuffs a random crusader next to X every 15 seconds." You could be reasonably sure that these negative effects would happen to this crusader instead of your main DPS. Could be called something like "take me instead"

This could be implemented in a couple different ways, affecting the crusaders next to it, actually being able to tell if a buff is positive or negative, etc.

You could also have it count as half a crusader on formation abilities that are divided between adjacent crusaders (Like the Shadow Queen's Cowl ability).

Presumably the actual percentage changes would be largely determined by gear, and you might want to disable certain abilities depending on your formation, and what you want it for. You'd also need some kind of global boost (maybe called "better than nothing"?) to make it actually, you know, better than having nothing in that spot.

I don't really know how useful or balanced it would be, but could potentially be a neat crusader to mess around with.
