Looking for Mini Golf Volunteers

But I need some feedback from anyone willing to play broomryderâ€™s course (in particular, hole #7) Hole # 7 (which has the "Boom Flag" golf piece) does not give me credit for finishing. When I sink the ball (in the "Boom Flag" hole) the ball disappears, but it does not explode like it should, and more importantly, does not give me credit, or say how many strokes it took on the score card. This little glitch prevents me from finishing the course, and therefore, I cannot rate the course. I tried refreshing my game, but the problem persists. A friend of mine tried it, and also said itâ€™s not working correctly. So, I put a ticket in to Nick I'm trying to find out if other players are having the same issue. Is there anyone here on the forum willing to play a little golf on Broomryderâ€™s course and give me some feedback? (I wish I could reach out to Broomryder, because sometimes itâ€™s an easy fix, like removing the piece, and then placing it back again.) Thanks for your help ðŸ˜Š
Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted April 9th 2019 at 4:18 PM Raymond if it is rated then somehow others are able to complete that hole (all holes). must be a glitch of some kind only affecting you. p.s. does he have multiple of that end hole? or multiple animated ends? the game does not like 2 or more of some of those

I would really appreciate feedback from players who have actually checked it out. (BTW ... It does not matter if the course was ever rated ... Those golf pieces could have been added later). Golf pieces are sometimes glitchy and just need to be re-positioned to work properly. I've spoken to a couple of players who said it doesn't work for them either, but if I can get more feedback, I'll submit another ticket to Nick. It's a lovely golf course, and I hate to see just one hole prevent other players from being able to finish the course.

JUST AS I SUSPECTED. sure i replied here before checking it out as i for one never heard of broomryde and assumed since you also are not a facebook player that his golf course is one I would never be able to go to

Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted April 9th 2019 at 8:30 PM Raymond just so you know. the Devs know about issues where 2 of Nates holes, or 2 of the hockey one, exist in one course. the devs 'put it on their list' of issues to look at well over 2 years ago. they also are aware of the one or 2 other golf pieces that can make a course impassable. one in particular that works when ball moves from left to right start to end, or from right to left, or from top to bottom, but not from bottom to top. a piece that is totally symmetrical and should work in all directions. they also have that on the list for just over one year now.

FYI, If a course is changed, the ratings do not reset to zero, unless the owner of the course chooses to do so by clicking on "reset". I play mini golf often enough to know. Also, the golf course has always been visible to all players on all platforms. Hoping to hear from other players that have tested hole #7 on broomryder's golf course, so I can provide Nick with some feedback. Thank you.

Sometimes people change something or add something and their course becomes broken. I don't know that Nick can fix it, only the course owner. But maybe what we need is a way to notify course owners of an issue and for the devs to give top rated courses a time frame in which they need to fix their courses in order to stay on that list.

One piece I had personally had trouble with on my course, was was the boat from the VIP store (a while back). It is playable ONLY if it is rotated in one certain direction. It worked for me when I tested it, but it didn't work for other players, and I was grateful that a friend pointed it out to me or I would not have known.

Maybe someone should inform him and also change the par for each hole...from par 3 to higher....Mine are all high par. I am redoing mine it is too gaudy..hahaha
