Would save having to hatch then grow them to then release them for same relevant dna
Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 27th 2019 at 9:33 AM Raymond i would love that, but then we would get the satchel eggs again unless they program it to no longer give one if we ever had one. i have 79 satchel eggs, would have 80 but i have not turned in my 20+ maine coons of gen 8 and soon enough i will be getting the gen 9 ones in satchels

I have all for previous gens :( I played for a few months not doing the Misty find an egg quest and not 1 egg in all that time. I got rare gems, BB's and everything else you can get from satchels but no eggs. Weird.

Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 27th 2019 at 11:15 AM Raymond you can only get a satchel egg for pet x under the following conditions. 1. x is a prior generation. 2. you possess 0 or 1 of pet x currently. you may have had as many as you possibly could, but if you still possess 2 or more pet x's then that as a satchel is impossible. 3. you do not already have pet x's egg in your inventory. from a satchel previously and have not hatched it yet. or by buying an egg using DNA. 4. along with this, one can only ever have 1 of pet x's egg from a satchel, but you can buy more using DNA but i see no reason to do so.

1530 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 27th 2019 at 12:15 PM ArmyMomOkc It helps so thanks for the info. It's because I have more than 1 hatched pet. I had forgotten that part. I have at least 7 each of gen 7-9. I will always keep the complete sets of eggs for the older gens.

180 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 27th 2019 at 1:58 PM Duckie I got all of the first six generations - twice each - in satchels. That is how I got all of them (twice). I used the Quester's VIP Boon, which increased my rare satchel items. I did not buy any of them with DNA.
Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 27th 2019 at 2:07 PM Last Edited January 27th 2019 at 2:13 PM Raymond but at any point in time you only ever had ONE and only one of any particular satchel egg in your inventory. i.e. if you have a dog egg you will never get another dog egg until you use up that first dog egg by hatching and raising it. exactly as i said in that writeup, well implied but simply missing some words. 4. along with this, one can only ever have 1 of pet x's egg from a satchel (in your inventory at any time), but you can buy more using DNA but i see no reason to do so. no wait. that original sentence was perfectly fine, you can only have one EGG what does one mean by that, of course egg in your inventory. not pet, not hatched raised or anything else. but the few words in the () spell that out a little better

Gen 7 was the first release I had been playing long enough to have gotten all of the previous gens. I guess it was also the first one I started using Misty's quest to get eggs. So, I'm going to see what I get in satchels instead of finding an egg with Misty for this generation. Good test in patience for me :)
