Why will not BW2 work for me anymore??
2 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 4th 2018 at 5:41 PM Maria Lindstrom BW2 just will not work at all... it get gets stuck in "loading" mode - and then nothing happens, no matter how long I keep the page going... So what gives???
Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 4th 2018 at 6:00 PM Raymond there are several possible reasons for it, mostly flash corruption. there are several things to do that might fix it. 1. clear flash cache. that is, right click in the game area near the 'loading'. select clear. reload the game again (you have to in order to have the clear get processed). on reloading which might take a little longer than normal you will be asked to answer 2 questions about flash like allow it or use local storage. the answers that work best for me are no then yes. 2. clear browser cache. this is less likely to do anything but is easy. 3. uninstall flash itself and reinstall. 4. try some other browser. see below. 5. or try some other computer like a friends or a library public one, at least temporarily. see below. 6. or on your computer log out of windows and log in as another account (not facebook account, i mean computer account like admin). 7. or on your computer try rebooting into safe mode with networking, assuming you are using Windows. in any of these, if you do get in, whack at least one bush where you are and then teleport to the commons. then try to get in as you normally do. it is possible that you may never be able to ever use the browser you like to play this game. for example, i can't ever use firefox anymore. in my case it is not the loading thing, it gets in, but the issue is infinite lag (only with this game), it takes a minute (yes fully 60 whole actual seconds between when i click a bush to when it gets whacked).

But here's an idea that was originally suggested by Dev Justin Stocks (and later re-posted by a BW2 player in an older thread on this forum). http://forum.codenameentertainment.com/?thread_id=12291#62801 Flash workaround 1. Load the Global Flash Settings Page. 2. Click on the 'Limit' header to sort by Limit until 'Unlimited' sites are sorted at the top. 3. Find the entry for bw2.djartsgames.ca and click it. 4. Click the 'Delete Website' button. 5. Refresh Bush Whacker 2. When it asks to use your Hard Drive, click 'No Thanks'. 6. When the Flash Confirmation window pops up, click 'Allow'. 7. Bush Whacker 2 should load normally and will no longer pause for long periods of time when loading new graphics.
