Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." The Golden Rule implies the basic assumption that other people would like to be treated the way that you would like to be treated. The alternative to the Golden Rule is the Platinum Rule: "Treat others the way they want to be treated"

This is part of the reason that I started the thread on Play. I was hoping for a bit of a discussion about what we each like.

I know that some people like to reference material already written and find answers sort of independently. Others like interactive communication even if the material was already covered.

Some (like me) have a pain in the a__ computer that makes typing anything as long as this a trial that others may not understand. Spell checking and other edits are truly difficult.

I'd like this MB to be a welcoming place for the bumbling, the new, the typing impaired, the awesome collector of data, the young and maybe even an older person that is loosing their memory.

One of the first rules of MBs that I try to remember is how easy it is to misunderstand.
So here's to honoring our encyclopedic players and our newbys and out longtime players who come here to be foolish and forgetful.

I know that I often am slow to interact here because so many of you know so much more.. and I'm really here to have a place to be imperfect and let my hair down. I just used the Wiki to find that last Nanner... and I had gratitude that someone is putting it together.
