Raymonddo it in steps. inside out. i also kept the parenthesis in longer then necessary to show a point.

Raymondand if you paste
(56-((2*(9/(21-18)))+4))-40= into windows calculator or google you will get an answer. NOTE, use * for 'multiply' in arithmetic because if you use x it thinks you are doing algebra and x is a variable so it plots something and i put the = sign there as calculator will not complete an entry without it |
