I posted this a few months ago, but it does get tiresome going days on end & not getting a single puzzle piece to complete the area. I don't know which is worse - not getting a piece when you've got the whole puzzle to do.....or trying to get that last 1. I know there's the magic woman in the Haven that will let you greaten your chances of getting puzzle pieces, but I'm NOT going to be spending my BW $ (or real $ to buy BW $) just to solve that.

Developers, please give us players some kind of help!

They have, it's called the Puzzlers Favor spell.
I got all 30 pieces in the Crypts for a square I had just opened up yesterday all in less than a half an hour. All in ONLY 2 Spells.

You don't need to spend BB to use the spells, you can purchase the reagents at the general store; there are 3 separate sacks that costs gems and coins, you can eventually max out on all reagents... if you are still not to keen on the spell book - energy is your friend when it comes to finding puzzle pieces and CI's and there is plenty of that at the auction house :) good luck!

yes, the spell works, but I have yet to find or buy more than one monkey fur!! Maybe I'll post on the feature request that we should be able to trade reagents--I think someone else did, but maybe the more that request it...

One way to get 20 Monkey Fur's is to not use Spells at all for a few weeks. And to buy Reagent Packs each and every day (I'd get the middle one based on economy/value return). Eventually all the lesser Reagents will max out at the 20 and your purchasing will get the rarer ones.
I had 20 of every one of the 10 kinds of Reagents before I cast a single Spell. And I actually don't plan on casting very many Spells at all. But I'm either at or very close to 20 of every Reagent just by doing what I said.

It worked for me. Now I've maxed out on Pure Water and Copper Powder, so now when I buy I only get the types that I actively use:
Spore Caps (for certain quests)
Willow Bark (on the odd moment I really want a certain CI)
Monkey Fur (for puzzles, of course)

I do have the Puzzle Fvor spell, but the only way to get the monkey fur is to spend $1BW to get it.

What is "CI"?

CI = Customization Item

After you top up your lower level herbs monkey fur will show up more regularly in the bags.

i believe that when the Devs first released the herbs they made monkey fur only available by purchase with Bush Bucks however they softened the situation later.

Wayne, you have the Spell Book. To use/cast the Spell you need that Reagent.
You don't have to buy it unless you want to cast the Spell right now. Do as I said and you will get up to 20 Monkey Furs in about 50-67 days of buying Reagents for Gems every day. That is assuming you don't cast any spells to use up any of your Reagents every day...

I've never used any reagents because the puzzle spell's the only 1 I want. wouldn't surprise me if I never use the others.

Rebecca,I have whacked monkey fur up - but only a couple of times.

Before I became a spell addict, I could get monkey fur regularly thru buying regents at the general store.

Now that I'm casting about a dozen spells a day, I'm spending bush bucks on them. But, since I get BBs free thru friend helps, I don't think that's too big a deal.

I admit to buying an herb or two. I bet that a person could fill up the bottom 3 herbs just by whacking in a very few days. I know how quickly i find those.

Wayne; after you have topped up your reagents you only need to get 100 mana for the spell to work, no need for BB...you are only asked for BB because you don't have enough mana. Hope this helps :)

Thanks Lorna. But as I've posted yesterday @ 6:10PM (per time stamp on my message), I won't be using any other spell. To me, I would never use any of them, so why would I want to spend gems & gold coins buying bags from the shop woman to max out things I'll never use only to THEN start getting what I do want?

If you're talking about the blue mana, that things been topped out because I don't use it. I think it's set to only work on Level 3 bushes & I'm already up to whacking Level 8 bushes with my sword. The BB is to purchase the Monkey Fur to cast the puzzle piece spell.

Oh my goodness, you apparently don't know that you can buy Mana improving things in the Haven Store, there is one for every value of Bush all the way up to 18. And using your Mana you can get 10 to 20 times the whacking value of your daily Energy.
Mana Spell increases:
2 Magical Trinket
3 Magical Amulet
4 Magical Runestone
5 Magical Wand
6 Magical Sceptre
7 Magical Heirloom
8 Magical Prism
9 Magical Scroll
10 Runic Dice
11 Runic Card
12 Runic Scented Candle
13 Magical Pearl
14 Magical Relic
15 Magical Orb
16 Magical Rune
17 Magical Torch
18 Magical Zombie Hand

Raymond, I do know that. However, I also remember on the old forum site that people would complain that they had it maxed out & there was no way to downgrade it, so it was creating many headaches for people due to them thinking they HAD to have it. So, I was under the logic that since my sword was the main tool in the game, why not focus on it instead?

Well if I don't upgrade my Mana that all Mana I get would be absolutely useless. So I'd onlty be able to whack 480 bushes a day instead of the 2480 or nore that I actually whack every day.
If you use Mana to whack lesser valued areas than your mana value they sure you waste a little mana, but if you play this game then you eventually don't have to whack ANY lesser areas.
Don't you complete every area that you have access to?
