24 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 24th 2011 at 2:46 AM Frank Fitzpatrick I am a stats fan so when some of my friends are at a level near me I always compare What I have noticed is they have loads of Moonstone (5+) and Emeralds (2+)I'm lvl 81 and I only have 2 moonstones and no emeralds any advice on how to get the big ones?
65 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 24th 2011 at 8:30 AM Toni McChargue keep trading your smaller gems to the larger ones. I now have, with trading up, 4 diamonds. and at lest 2 to 3 of all the rest. I'm on level 131, but I started trading as soon as I had enough to do so....Good Luck...

5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 24th 2011 at 3:55 PM Raymond Use a Gem enhancing Sword like the Tiki or the Diamond Scepter and whack Bushes, not Beasts with whatever Multiplier you have, the sooner you use your Multiplier the better, but I occasionally get Topazes times 750 and that's a good percentage of an Emerald...
28 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 24th 2011 at 8:58 PM Melodie Schlamp Use the Jeweled luck spell boost as well -it increases your chance of finding gems and potentially upgrades the ones you find. I had to use it to get my first diamond.

I am level 120 and I have never felt much of a shortage of gems... sometimes I wondered how I would get what I needed/wanted. I am a bit slow buying some things but I am also use a fair amount in gems for energy. If you really find yourself short pull out the gem mana spell and whack with a gem sword. Mostly I keep the faith that the Devs have the game somewhat balanced.

But if you have not won one then you need 4 of the next lower one, or 16 of the one below that, or 64 of the one before that, or 256 of the one below that and so on, to something like 16K Agates. But if you need one or mre to get through a Gate, there are probably some Rosa Quests that should happen for you sometime soon that reward Moonstones.

If I'm remembering right, Raymond has been playing for as long as I have (since the beginning) and still hasn't whacked a diamond. As far as I can tell, the odds are such that not everyone will whack one but everyone will be able to acquire one. It's called the 'lucky bastard odds', and works like the lottery in that when someone says 'well somebody has to win!', thats not true, no one has to win, and quite often no one does! So just keep whacking and someday, when you are mindlessly whacking bushes a little blurb will pop up telling you that you're a 'lucky bastard' and you'll realize that you missed the damn thing!

I'm now playing to be the last person on earth to have one. :-) I'm having resounding success with that goal.

They are really rare, I was using the jeweled luck spell, but I think I was probably using my mana sword. I am sure the odds increase a bit with the spell but the odds are still really low on finding one.

Currently Max Level and 100% and have been so for more than 350 days worth of the game. Zero Diamonds actually won but perhaps 10 worth accumulated. Only One Emerald ever won too. I do have to say that perhaps 60% of those 1,000,000 Bushes were Level 1 & 2 in the first square of the game when I whacked there exclusively for about a month about a month ago. So Diamonds were unlikely to ever appear. Except for the fact that the first person to ever win a Diamond, actually won something like 2 of them in one single week back when the game was only a few weeks old and she was in the Forrest where there are only Level 1 & 2 Bushes. So I have no idea why I have never gotten a single one.

5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 9th 2012 at 3:06 AM Last Edited January 9th 2012 at 3:06 AM Raymond many of the people who frequent the forums are on the first page of the rankings. there are achievements for 1 and 2 diamonds and also 1 & 4 emeralds. comparing ones profile with hers you can see that she has at least 2 diamonds and 4 emeralds. and actually later on in the comparison you can see the actual gem won situation, 6 of each for her.
