Okay, so auction bread is my best friend. When I went to bid on some recently, it was at the starting bid. The starting bid was 2000 gold. Is it supposed to be that high?

Just wait till you are my Level and the starting bids are 32,000
it goes up as you get higher in level and you compete with people of a similar level to you.

The new release is increasing the activity and price in all the auction houses. There is another thread that talks about the price in the action that starts at 32,000 There the bids high bids have been seen at 250,00 even 350,000.

Gary I just reread what you wrote... as you go up in levels the starting bid goes up... I believe there are 3 levels... 500, 2000 and 32000...but Raymond would know for sure... just writing it makes me think there is one more level... maybe 10,000 ??? My memory isnt cooperating with this

There are actually 6 levels of Auction Bread:

10-29, starting at 500 gold
30-49, starting at 2000 gold
50-69, starting at 4000 gold
70-89, starting at 8000 gold
90-109, starting at 16000 gold
and 110+, starting at 32000 gold

No I wouldn't know for sure, but Justin does.
I am just a player, he is the Creator.
The Auction house was invented when I was in the 70-89 range and at one time I had 3 Auction Breads, all unclaimed, one from each of those upper ranges. And I used those 3 plus buying with BB's to get to Maxed Out First my first time with the Caves I think it was, or perhaps the Far Away Lands.

You see, I only know about things that I have direct experience with.

Auction Bread probably isn't worth it at the lower-levels. But be sure to help Steve with fishing daily - that way you'll be able to buy 1/2 refills from him when you find yourself in a tight spot in the future.

Justin, any chance you can create a new level for auction bread? It appears all the other levels of bread include 20 playing levels. We're now at 25 levels for the top level. Say startig at level 130 (meaning it would start out with a pretty good number of people), strating bid 64K?

I second the vote... bidding against people that have been maxed out several times makes bidding tough

You can get more than 100%.

Just before using an Auction Bread, or Fishing Tokens, or Island Feathers, or Questor Tokens, or BB's, or Friend Pack, or Leveling Up, or buying a Fruit Basket (I think), buy the Major Energy Spell and the Minor Energy Spell. And you'll get that much more out of them, 20%+30% more.

If you are a high level player, check out the starting bid for bread now. There is one that seems to be $64,000 to start!

Monica is right -- there is a "cheesy bread" for higher level players - starting bid 64,000 (although the starting bid is really 65,000). I don't know the level that kicks off that separation - does anyone else?

On the second day of this new update I was curious and checked it out. I was the first and only bidder on the one that I won. 65K.
Since it was day 2 and I had not progressed a level I'd say that's 135.
