The Yeti is normal type, making rock attacks "Very Effective" against him 2. However the Yeti uses Water Cannon a lot, making rock Guardians easy prey for him 3. That's why fire Guardians are not a good option 4. He doesn't use Water Cannon versus nature type Guardians, so they are not a superior option => Conclusion: Everything but fire Guardians works equally good. 5. Since the Yeti is a single strong Monster, debuffing attacks work exceptionally well 5.1 The best debuff is probably reducing his accuracy 5.1.1 The best attack to do so is probably Sand Storm 5.2 Other than that, reducing his Special Defense works well, too 5.2.1 Consider using Drip a lot on him 6. Using a defensive Guardian for debuffing is wise => Example: 1st Guardian: Gebble (he can tank a lot and therefore use Sand Storm a lot) 2nd Guardian: Crabbicle (he can use Drip a lot and even kill him, if you get lucky) 3rd and 4th Guardian: Any rock, nature or water type with high Special Attack While it's not necessary to do so and there are other tactics, that work too, this should be really easy and no problem for anyone. It shouldn't require any potions either. The fight depends a lot on what the Yeti does though (if he buffs himself a lot, its relatively easy... also if he misses a lot due to reduced accuracy).

I lost my first battle with the Yeti and re-adjusted my strategy: Kowa using Dust Cloud repeatedly Lyon using Dust Cloud repeatedly Zaatango using Drip repeatedly Hopefully my Vinibark will be able to finish him off with Drain, Thorn Prick and Constricting Vines Of course, I've also raised the levels of a few of my Guardians and booted the Rock Guardian I brought the first time in favor of Kowa.

71 Posts	Link to post - Posted February 14th 2012 at 4:05 AM Cherk Wow, I just tried to beat him and got him down to 450 (odd) but then died! I haven't trained my Kowa or Lyon up as much as 4 other ones so I'll do that and then try again....
