OK I must be missing something since I see no other posts about this, please help me out. I have 5 quest tokens one from each, need to get 10 to get next key-none of the 5 have another one available. What do I do?

Just like other zones of 8 squares, about 2 weeks to complete. Well perhaps about twice as long as it would have been. But for sure much better than 'just whack the jigsaw puzzle monster to advance to the next square'.
These Developers are inventive and listen to our dislike of the 'same old thing'.
This way gives a day or more all through that time to get all the CI's and not leave any unfinished squares.

nope. I too only bought one keys worth. but I've done the 5 quests every 20 hours since and have opened a lot, the last 3 are extrapolations. I'll have one more narrowed down in a few hours.

I have a lot of trouble finishing the Questers tokens quests. I'm out of Bush bucks and therefore can't buy the reagents spell (yes I do buy the bag of herbs). Just now it cost me 1500 odd energy to try and get all the flowers for lucy but only got 5.. It seems like every of those quests takes up about a whole bar of energy for me to finish it.

three of the 5 can be improved with a "questers favor" spell. I can complete the three with less than 2 spells and 2 bars of energy. The other 2 take longer and take more energy. Also I've found that the lower the level of the bushes the more energy it takes over all to complete the quest.

I've also noticed that it is good use of energy to use my bush bucks to add to the tokens. I am not buying BB but the earned BB from Friend tokens are a better use of energy. See below for a quick comparison

20 friend tokens = 4 BB used for energy = .................. adds .. 1/4 of a bar of energy

.................. 5 BB = 5 questers tokens,

............to whack for 5 questers tokens .... .. uses 4-6 full bars of energy

So 5 BB used for Questers Tokens is equivalent to 4-6 Bars of energy for other things

for me
the voodoo swamp has bushes level at about 14
and
the strange room has bushes level at about 10
and
the scarecrows field has bushes level at about 4

how ever to do the entire repeatable quest (without spells)
I spend the most total energy in the scarecrows field and
the least total energy in the voodoo swamp.

Not complaining, just thought it's weird but seems like that's the norm. :)
Sometimes it seems that it takes less energy other times it uses more. The flower one normally is easier to complete and so is the frog one (even without the questers favour spell) So when I used all my energy and didn't finish the flower quest, I found it odd.

I don't do the sparklies quest every day, as it's a hard one and at the moment, I don't have any energy left to complete any other quests apart from the questers tokens ones.

Raymond: PS... One thing I remember.... When I opened the Wonderland area the first squares opened at the 4 level... My level increased some before I killed the witch and the bushes in squares increased in level along with my level increases. the bushes in the witches castle are level 6. (Just double checked levels by whacking a bit to check)
