Alex Joneslevel up the vinnable, the gym master has 2 water guardians and 2 normal guardians, and grass is good against water.

Darken Aoc RahlThe first gym changes depending on your starting guardian. Grass is the most important for you to level up. He will have 2 nasty water types.

Nate DauerFor the final boss of the gym, I recommend whatever guardian Jill gave you, as it will have a type advantage over two of the four that he uses.
As others have said, in your case, that guardian is vinibble. Make vinibble your best friend, bring him to all your parties, invite him and his wife over for dinner, be seen together, laugh together, cry together, etc. |

Nate DauerLast Edited February 9th 2012 at 1:46 PM For future reference, if you're on the verge of losing a battle, you can always flee. Doing so will count as a loss -BUT- you will get to keep any XP gained from beating any of the Guardians you successfully defeated.
So if defeat is assured, but you managed to defeat at least one of the enemy's Guardians, a tactical retreat can prove very helpful. |
