GugLast Edited April 19th 2017 at 5:13 PM In the crafting menu, characters are arranged alphabetically.
Since crafting started, I still have trouble finding saders. In no other instance is my brain formatted to find a sader alphabetically; either in the sader/play/buyLevels menu, or the CotLI unofficial Wikia page. Can they be arranged as the are during game play, by bench slot order; i.e. 1 Bushwacker, 1a RoboRabbit....4 Sasha, 4a Grokloc. Going through list, that reminds me, is the "Bushwacker" under B like any library book that starts with the? No, I can't remember, maybe he did have a "The" and they put him there. What was that Orcs name, I know where to find him on the bench, he switches with the Mime, or is it The Mime, no, shes under M for Mindy the Mime. you get the idea. |

AnimenutOr spend the extra 10 seconds to scroll and look for the right character in the thumbnail? I have nearly every crusader and it rarely takes me longer than 5 seconds to find any single crusader on the list.
Also, you can directly click a gear piece for any crusader on the bench to go right to that item's crafting options. |

AndreasSame here. For me this way of sorting would be quite worse as I can't remember more than half the slots of crusaders but their names.

Gugcool input . id of thought most would agree.
Maybe a sort by option? i got 79/81, too (missing the driver whatever his name and the last elf whatever her name. I got the bench slots down pat. bench slot sorting would also help me remember who swaps within the same bench. takes me about 10 seconds to find my sader. thank goodness for the tiny thumbnails , because i can never find them by name. |

Andreaswell, there were just three players opposing your suggestion. There might be hundreds out there, thinking the same way as you do.
The question might be: How important is it? About how many times do you check the crafting menu each day? |

AnimenutThe question anyone has to ask themselves before posting a suggestion is "Does this affect anyone other than myself?" With all due possible respect, the devs have a whole lot more to concern themselves with than the mundane, minimally-annoying issue of a vast minority of players. Adding a whole new function (which, in terms of coding, takes more time and effort than just sacrificing a lunch break) just for the 5 people that complain about it really isn't worth it when the other 99% of players either haven't complained or say "Nah, it's fine."
Not trying to sound rude or anything. Just saying that if your issue is subjective ("I'd prefer if...") as opposed to objective ("It would be better if...") then it is probably going to be ignored, even if you've put a lot of rational thought into it. |

GugLast Edited April 20th 2017 at 7:25 PM Yup! Right on Animenut.
It would be better if the sorting could be chosen as either A-Z or 1a-23b. Given the programming required for a sort button, vs just deciding to sort one way, it looks like sorting it A-Z suits most. I thought throwing this out there was worth it, so I did. Before posting I woulda thought the majority would be in in the same boat; turns out I'm noy even in the same ocean. Kind of like do you fold or ball your important papers or TP. Guess when it comes to the crafting menu, turns out I'm a baller (kind of embarrassing when you find yourself in a low minority when all along you thought you were just like everyone else). Purpose of post satisfied. Thanks guys! -ps In my off screen time I DO fold. |
