I looked at the first page of requests and didn't see this, please forgive me if it's buried a little deeper.

Please add an option to view an ad to get an idol bonus on reset like the mobile version has; it's quite an annoyance to only switch to mobile for that reason.

its been mentioned a few times. i think their answer is something along the lines of them not having ruled it out.

I actually think it is rather smart for them to keep the idol buff solely on mobile. It is a way to make sure that players are not able to keep reaping the benefits of a glitch for too long after it is fixed or utilizing a weekend buff after it expires.

Granted I do not think that was one of the original thoughts behind it, but it is a lovely side effect.

As an alternative that would be feasible on all platforms, it occurred to me that there exists such a thing as an idol buff (50% 3-day buff with a "16 chests for $20" bundle) so what if they added versions of that as possible missions that can pop up for either of your buff mission slots? Possibly something like 10% buff for 30 minutes from the common mission, 25% buff for 30 minutes from the rare mission, and 50% buff for 30 minutes from the epic mission. (Scaling the power of the buff instead of the duration just like the speed buff missions.)

Granted, mobile (and potentially web as well if they add it later) would still have the option of the ad bonus on top of that. Unless they make it not stack with the in-game idol buffs or something?

Actually... Question. I have no experience with the mobile bonus (no way for it to be an option for me, tried setting up various android emulators and most run so slow that just a simple task like a single click/tap takes a couple minute to process, and the only decent one I've seen comes up claiming to not be compatible with the game). Does it multiply the overall idol gain (so 2264 becomes 4528 (edit: why did I double it there? I know it's supposed to be 50%, not 100%)) or does it add that 50% to the DIS bonus (so instead of 496 x 4.565 = 2264 it would be 496 x 5.065 = 2512)?

Because that could be a thing as well, if it isn't already. Maybe the idol mission buffs could be 50, 100, and 200% and the store and ad idol bonuses could be upped to something like 500%, but all of those values are added to the DIS bonus, not multiplied. Actually, testing... 496 x 9.565 = 4744, so that DIS additive 500% would actually make that reset worth more than an overall multiplicative 50%. 4744 compared to 4528.

The idols bonus is multiplicative, not additive. So what would be a 1,000 idol reset with just talents on web, is a 1,500 reset with just Empowered Crusading and 1,875 with the mobile bonus on top.

P.S.: As far as emulators go, I use MEmu to reset. I used to use BlueStacks, however I found that MEmu runs smoother for me. Both work fine though.

When I tried it BlueStacks was one that was super duper slow for every tiniest little thing. I couldn't stand it long enough to do much more than navigate the menus of the android system a bit, but if I could have attempted to install a game on it it would probably take about 8 hours just to log into Crusaders and tell it to reset at the pace it was working at. And Memu was the one I tried that actually works really well, not slow at all, but refuses to actually load Crusaders because it thinks that it's not compatible with it. It seems like it ought to be possible to tinker with the configuration of it to make it work but I haven't been able to work out what it needs.

Edit: Nox App Player seems to work well enough and it loads up the game as well. Looks like I may have actually found an option then.

CE customers should not have to mess with 3rd party software like bluestacks or auto-clickers, or switch to another device to get full use of their product :)

bonus is for mobile. desktops are not mib==obiles unless you emulate that using a 3'rd party thing. CNE itself does not give a bonus, kong does and only as a benefit of being on a mobile, that's what they want

Thanks Ray I read in here somewhere that CE and Kong were 'old friends that worked much more closely together than typical developers' (or something like that), but I can see how Kong would push for the lucrative mobile ad market over the computer gaming market. Even so, computer users made this game popular long before the phone app came out and imo should get the same benefits as mobile users :)
