Probably a little too intensive given the number of possible combinations, but it'd be really neat if the crusaders' sprites in formation reflected their current gear.

There are currently 76 Crusaders, with 12 pieces of gear each. That is almost 1,000 unique looks the artists would have to draw, for very little return, other than some players being happy to see Artaxes in a hat.

If we had bigger development team and more resources, then it might have been something we would have done.

You know what? That would make some killer fanart. Ever thought of holding a fanart competition?

To enter you would have to post the image in some public fashion, like on your FB wall or on DeviantArt, mentioning the game in the description and submit a link to the post. Prizes would be in the form of codes for jeweled chests.

It could be a nice marketing gimmick.

maybe it was just for golden epic gears. It could also increase purchase of chests in my opinion

That's still a lot of combinations; that's up to eight times the number of character animations per crusader, times the number of frames in their walking and fighting animations.

This idea is even dumber than I thought it was when I suggested it.
