I payed money expecting something a tad more than what I got. I don't know about anyone else who actually went to the marathon party that was put in a corner to watch from afar. Watching and listening to people laughing at a game I could not really see, hosted by 11 year olds and teens and a reluctant developer if that. I went to that twitch feed to talk to developers and got a Nap instead deeply disappointed :(

Thank you for the feedback Marg.

First thing to note is: streaming is not something we do as a company. We do it once a year for Extra Life, so there are bound to be bumps.

Next year we will definitely have a disclaimer that it's about the developer team gaming for 24 hours straight for charity, and may not include a lot of talk about Bush Whacker 2 or full ask-me-anything style questions to the developers, since it is the weekend and it is our downtime.

We will try to have it better organized, and hope the stream will crash less as well.

By donating to our campaign, you helped the BC Children's Hospital, and we're grateful for anything we can raise for them. We do the in-game incentives to reward the generosity of our players, and the whole idea of the campaign is to do 24 hours of gaming for charity, which we did follow through on.
