I'm swapping quite often and sometimes it's really kind of "pain in the ass". Especially swapping to activate a skill.
e.g. I prefer Littlefoot in my formation, but as I have the epic orb on Thalia his "Storm Rider" is much stronger. The same goes with Bubba (using "Synchronized Swimming" in the formation) and Artaxes (having GE equipment for "Savage Strikes").
Unfortunately it requires quite a lot of clicking to swap them, activate the skill and swap back.

I know that I could work with saved formations but te three slots aren't enough for this. (max dps, max gold, max clicker dmg, tank/heal, storm rider, savage strikes, ... well that's more than three :p)

My first suggestion is simply that the swapped crusader is put into the formation automatically instead of leaving an empty space. I found out that something like this was already discussed here: http://forum.codenameentertainment.com/?thread_id=12609

My second suggestion is some kind of "fast swap buttons". Maybe one button for each crusader in the same bench slot? Like buttons that count "1, 2, 3" that swap to the respective crusader on this bench slot instantly (without having to click the swap button, scroll up and down to find the right crusader and confirm with another swap button).
And of course it would be the greatest thing if the swapped crusader comes into the formation too (like I said in suggestion number one ;-)


How are yout thinking about that?

There's enough room, on the pc version anyway, to have it looks like 7 formation buttons before they interfere with the ivy at the left edge. If we had that many formation buttons, then using the formation buttons for quick swaps would be more practical - but Lorin already made the point that the current three slots just arene't enough for this.

Really like the simple fix that if the crusader is in formation, switching will automatically place the switched crusader in that formation. Would make switching in Thalia, for instance much less a hassle - swap, magnify, StormR, formation button.
