Hi,

I feel rather stupid but, after I finished the Infected plains the policeman told me that the portal behind me will take me to the Flux. OK I said, off I go to at least unlock it (have things to do in the Plains before I go for good). Only thing is, I can't find it. I looked in all 4 locations of the Plains plus the Village but I must be blind and/or stupid because I just can't figure this one out. Since I appear to be useless can you throw some help my way? Pretty please? With a whole orchard worth of cherries on top?

only after you have first gotten there by glitch.
but I forget if there also is a way there from the bottom right of the contaminated coast?

Hey there,

I did try. Where there's the "No Trespassing" sign correct? Same way as I would go to the next area if there was one? I tried in between the fences, at each side of the fences, gone full screen, nothing. Does this mean I need to open a ticket?

Anyway, I do want to thank you all for answering my post :)

Maybe I wasn't clear. Let us see if I can do better. I used the map to teleport to the Contaminated area. Then, just to do something different from the many other times I tried to get to Flux before I even considered opening a thread about it, instead of opening the local map and moving myself to Field 4 I walked there. Once there I moved my sprite past the Stone gate.

The area past the stone gate can be described as: a patch of contaminated ground of deep brown surrounded in the north and west by "hilly" patches of yellow growth, the Stone gate and green sea at the south and a little corridor, defined by two fences and with a "No Trespassing" sign in the middle, with a patch of brown to its upper and lower side to the east.

I moved my character all the way to the right, in all possible instances of what can be rightly called right and some that actually better deserve the name "up" and "down".

When nothing happened, as it didn't before, knowing that I AM indeed in the right area I insisted further. I did all I could to try to get more to the right. Nothing happened.

Is this clear or should I write an even longer post to convey the same information I thought I gave in two lines?

Hi Irini,

So I just tried going into the Flux the way I described myself. You should be able to leave the screen from between the two fences, but it appears to be bugged at the moment.

I would recommend putting in a ticket, so the developer can let you know when they fix it.

I think I have the same problem.
I tried to go past the "No Trespassing" sign and can't go anywhere.
Showed screen shots to a friend and I don't have the portal at the fountain either. And on the map it is still showing as "locked".

Was thinking, do I have to finish the new quests that were added in Sanctuary after people were already in flux?

@ Irini, Norma: Flux entrance is fixed. :)


@ Norma: If you do enough quests to unlock the Romance questline, once you're dating someone, they give you a Gift every week. It can sometimes be energy or better things. Plus, you can buy Sandwiches in the Sanctuary store. The items can be found while whacking in the Flux, like the Cloudland items can be, if you wish to do some Cloudland quests.
