188 Posts	Link to post - Posted February 2nd 2012 at 11:53 AM Shelagh Conroy I was just wondering how many years it is going to take to level guardians up to level 30? To get a guardian from level 19 to level 20, it takes 3092 points. To go from level 20 to level 21, it takes 14,232 and to go from level 21 to level 22 it takes 65,472. Following the pattern (a little better than 4X the requirement from the previous level) it will take approximately 261,888 points to level from level 22 to level 23. By the look of these numbers it will be neigh on impossible to level even 1 guardian to level 30; let alone more than 1. There is an achievement for leveling a guardian to level 30 but it looks like it is highly unlikely that anyone will achieve it. I would like to see the leveling numbers within a reasonable range because once you have gotten your guardians to level 20 there are no more goals to reach in the game while we wait for upgrades. No incentive to play the game, gets kinda boring.

(your character) The game is still very new, so they don't want people getting too high level yet. The requirements will decrease sooner or later to more reasonable requirements. As much as I'd like to get my Zaat to level-up at level 21, I've decided I'm just going to wait until a high soft-level cap is released. That said, don't waste your time leveling up your Guardians past 20 yet.

Currently the maximum player level is 5 (although some guys have level 7 by now). When the maximum levels increase, the requirements get adjusted (for most players, this results in their Guardians having 3399/3400 experience (or similar), and their player level will be at 7999/8000 (or whatever the new number is)).

I have a second Cubby at level 17; I have caught, leveled and sold several guardians for tokens. I got to level 7 today. Just not much for me to do until the update and I guess I was just venting, thanks for listening!!!
