Different crusaders that have the ability to reset the world should have their own animation. Specially the new alien crusader. A mother ship should totally fly over and zap the planet. Other crusaders can get it as well if the situation calls for it because Nate is unable to use his.

Nice suggestion, but imho very low priority, there's a ton of other stuff to do first than just fluffy animations...

meh. i rather have the option to skip the blowing up animation but i see from time to time a lot of requests to be able skip this and that, making us seem rather ungrateful for the time they've put into these things. good to see someone posting the opposite

What with the new ability for Nate to reset the world even when away on missions - this should translate to his also being able to reset the world on those objectives where he isn't otherwise available (thus saving a lot of confusion for new players who seem to often find it difficult to find the alternate reset ability - especially now that the alternate reset ability might be on a buried crusader (using, for instance Alan instead of firebird, or Billionaire instead of Merci).

If they did that, then reset would be limited to just Nate and whomever he's sharing his slot with - in which case it would be fun to see an alternate reset animation for the odd times we might be using the alternate character. [i would intentionally seat her on a run where i had no intention of using either of them, just to see the alternate explosion occassionally). And when Nate gets a third companion, there'd be a third reset animation to go along with him/her/it.

This bring up a question i've also been wondering about: Is there an intended limit to ultimate crusader numbers? Is it potentially infinite? - if the game goes over three years, will there be 150 crusaders and climbing? Or is there a three-crusader-per seat goal in sight - thus always allowing newcomers the chance to completely fill their rosters?

I've never played a game like this before, but i suspect that veteran players must lose interest at some point - even if there were an infinite possiblility of new characters; whereas, for a while at least, new-comers will be more likley to get on board for a few years if it seems possible for them to catch up in terms of collecting all characters and gear...
