That would be nice, but it would also be A LOT of work for those poor artists that already have to draw a whole new event every month or so... I think it would be a good idea, but it should be very, very low on the priority list.

Plus, not all equipment can be represented on the model: for example, Sal can have a new cape and a new trident, but the model doesn't have a shark.

@Thanatos: I don't think it would cause much more lag if at all. Depending on how the software selects the current animated image it would just be a matter of introducing the equipment to that selection. I.e. - and I know this is in no way how it works - if the selection right now is "img src='emo.gif'", the change is "img src='emo-common-rare-epic.gif'". However, this means, the game is bigger and therefore tougher on your internet connection. And I'm wth Teschio, this would mean you have nine-folded the images of each crusader, plus the potential impact on the profile images.

By the way: The low quality setting limits a lot of animations to a bare minimum. Especially the way the collection of money is animated when picked up by the mouse pointer or if you see the little fog when killing an enemy
