Melody October MayI've collected my 200 turkeys, and when I go to the map, I see the mark showing a completed question in the southeast section of Haven. But, when I go to the pilgrim to turn in the turkeys, he's not ready to accept the quest.

RaymondWell because the Event is not over you have to wait.
That's how I remember it from last year. And there probably not be any more Turkeys for you either. |

Justin Stocks (CNE Dev)Yeah the ? on the map in southeast is a glitch, but I've added text to the pilgrim and the quest itself that explains you can't turn them in until the 26th.
The reason for this is made clear if you read the npc's dialog when you eventually do turn in the turkeys. :) - Justin |

Melody October MayK, thanks - if the bouncing ? goes away, I'll be happy. It's driving the OCD person in me crazy!
Thanks for your responses, Justin & Raymond. |

RaymondThe best way is to find YOUR exact number, for me it's between 378 and 383 Energy used. I don't know the exact, but this is 3 full Quick Whacks or Mana Whacks + 3 or 4 individual Whacks of my highest area, and it's more, but exactly calculatable for other lesser areas.
With that info you can efficiently use your Energy and not waste a single bit. It's this way for every Holiday Event (except Valentines Day) and for quests like the Crabs or Crows, just with different values. The exacting nature of this makes this totally unfun for me. I much rather prefer the total randomness of the Valentines Day event, that was totally fun, just not knowing if it was going to happen, or when it was going to happen. The other day when this event started I knew just about exactly when I'd get my 200 Turkeys. I estimated tomorrow afternoon, and it's actually going to happen tomorrow morning. |

RaymondLast Edited November 18th 2011 at 9:49 PM No, everyones number is different, it's based on your Level, but the outcome is probably the same. From x amount of Energy you will get y Turkeys. And the Event is 14 days long, right? Where x is your Max Energy and how many times a day that effectively gets filled (~2.5 for me) plus 2x for all your Friend packs, plus what you can buy for Gold and Gems in Haven. Them as a bonus what you should have stockpiled in Fishing Tokens and Island Feathers.
Don't waste Energy as described above. Don't waste Energy by letting your Energy get maxed out and not using it, you have to play as much as you possibly can. And use a Mana sword to get that much more effective whacking. |
