AzaryahBut then, These missions continue to advance off-line don't they - and are, within the fiction of the game, being sent off away from the main campaign to do their missions. So it entirely makes sense that Warps applied to the current campaign objective would not effect those off on a side mission and completely separated from the main crusaders.

BlujiNo. It's an idle game, let something in it live up to that. The current formula gets people to return to the game once the missions are done.

ihatethisfingit's a TIME warp.....that means the entire "world" is jumping ahead 30m/4h/8h, so this should include missions being affected by it.

Raymondit doesn't kill objectives times so it doesn't kill mission times.
it's not exactly a global time warp. only some of the effects of moving in time are given to you |

OortThe names of the different warps are for those things used to travel back in time - Time Turner for Harry Potter, Delorean for Back to the future. Yes, they could take you to the future as well, but their focus is on the past. So you aren't actually cutting time away, but adding time to yourself. Extra time spent in the past collecting that gold and then returning. From the formations standpoint its instantaneous because it has already happened.
Time remains the same to you, but the gold you collected is now increased from that extra time gained by going back. |

MrJ0shuaInteresting, zaqqaz's original post and Oort's interpretation of what a Delorean actually does.
Perhaps an altogether new "thing" could resolve the issue. My suggestions; 1. A silver chest drop "short cut", giving 15, 30, or 60 minute mission advancements. 2. A new talent that would decrease mission times by a set percentage. 3. A new button you can use that stores "x"% of accrued mission time that you could spend on a particular current mission, resetting after every use. Missions are a new concept, and eventually some sort of time reduction will be implemented. I think that any sort of time reduction should only apply to missions, and not to penalties for failure. |

OortThe thing that occurs to me, for missions, is even if you jumped a particular mission forward in time so that it didn't take as long, the present time is still the focus. So while those on the mission may have shaved away minutes hours or days, to all the other heroes, its still the same amount of time because they have to still experience it.
Mission heroes subjectively experience 1 hour instead of 2, but heroes in other missions and active in the current formation still experience that skipped hour so no real saving of time is actually achieved. |
