So, I think as long as I have epics and there is this disenchantment "feature", why would I spend money to risk this? So I am now consciously having to weigh this when purchasing additional chests...think this is not something you want your customers to do right? Think guys...get some one who has some marketing and incentive experience to address this "feature" to you = "issue" to the customer and it does impact how many chests I purchase because I have purchased a lot...obviously this is an issue for me.

it happens when you get duplicate epic cards...it's stupid and annoying.

but you know, if you have all epics then why are you buying chests? not for the gear, but cause you support the Devs, right?
not everyone pays into the game, and not everyone who does will do so forever cause there's only so many things.

There is no bug, you simply don't know how equipment works (and what enchantment means in this game):
- if you don't have a piece of equipment in the slot occupied by the gear you get, that gear occupies that slot.
- if you have a piece of equipment in the same slot occupied by the gear you get, and the one you have equipped is of a LOWER rarity than the one, then the "old" one gets disanchanted, giving you EPs, while the new one replaces it.
- if you have a piece of equipment in the same slot occupied by the gear you get, and the one you have equipped is of a EQUAL OR HIGHER rarity than the one you get, then the new one gets disanchanted, giving you EPs. This does NOT increase the quality of the one you have equipped, it just gives EPs.

Therefore, if you get a duplicate epic, that piece of equipment, being of the SAME rarity of the one you already have, gets disenchanted giving you 4 EPs. But this is all you get, there is no "upgrading" of existing equipment unless you get one of HIGHER rarity, in this game "enchanted" doesn't mean "upgraded", it means "transformed into EPs".

is like dice. say a dice game is to get the highest on one dice. you roll a 2, that's higher then the nothing you had before. next you roll a 1 and disenchant that, next you roll a 2 and disenchant that also but at a higher value then the 1. then you roll a 5. you'll disenchant a lot of things before you roll a 6. and from then on you'll never roll anything higher, but still increase your ep from all the disenchanting you do.
there's a highest level gear and that's epic (well we will not count the golden epic and the legendary that we know about but have never seen).
but there's 20 normal crusaders for you to get all epics on.
and as Amoon said, random is random, you will not get better stuff all the time, if you did then everyone would pay into the game instead of the few that do.
