Am I the only one that finds it odd that you have to use a Battery to use the Teleporters in each Town? I understand using them if you want to use your "Personal" Teleporter...but to use the ones in the Towns requiring one? I just don't think that's right.

Also...am I the only one that has noticed that the enemy monsters now appear CLOSER to you for some reason?

umm Mr. Walker you do not use a battery for the town teleporter's. unless that is something brand new.

I don't know anything about monsters appearing closer, but it's possible there was a slight graphics change...

Hi Eric,

The town teleporters do not require batteries, where are you seeing this?

I think the forest battle background was adjusted to give more space at the back. This would cause them to appear closer when they are not. I will confirm this is what happened tomorrow.

Wait, only your personal teleporter requires a battery?

Man, they could've explained that a bit more clearly, that would have saved me a looooooot of walking.

^^^ I'm with Douwe. That's confusing!

What is the definition of "town teleporters" vs "personal"? Is any physical teleporting location free to use? (even in the wild?)

Sorry, I should have said any telepads, not town teleporters. But yes only the personal teleporter requires a battery. Using a telepad is free. If you look at the two dialogs, it should be very clear that one costs something and the other doesn't.

Hmm...I'll have to try again to confirm it but I tried to use the Telepad in Vale yesterday and it told me I couldn't because I didn't have any Batteries..
