Trade ordinary chests for event-chests

Once an event has ended, the chests are gone (well, okay, they sit around for a few days after, but you get my drift). And with those chests, gone is the extra equipment for the event crusaders, and you have to rely on Sharing is Caring to buff them beyond whatever you were lucky enough to have drop for you during the event. If you were unlucky and only ended up with common and uncommon gear, well, that crusader might end up on your bench instead of being in use...

Howsabout a chest-trade option? Trade, e.g. 10 or 15 normal Silver chests for 1 Silver [insert event here] Chest. And similarily for Jeweled Chests to Jeweled [event] Chests (which, yes, means that rich people can spam-buy jewelled chests and massively boost their event crusaders, but, frankly, you can already do that with the normal crusaders and jewelled chests).

The alternative would of course be to code chests to drop gear for the event crusaders available to a person (like with the Cookie chests and Gaming chests), but I can imagine that that would be somewhat of a headache to check for.

Thank you for focusing on a minor point of my suggestion's phrasing in favour of ignoring the entire suggestion itself. By massively, I mean buying hundreds or even thousands of jewelled chests using real-life cash. Seeing as event chests only contain equipment for two crusaders instead of twenty, it can provide a notable boost to damage in combination with talents.

Which, yes, would cost an insane amount of money, but I've before made suggestions on other games along this vein and gotten replies that sums up as "You're stupid, people can buy their way to win easily", so merely trying to be proactive on that account.

It's also for balance reasons that I suggest 10 or 15 chests in trade for 1 event chest. 10 would keep the approximate ratio of how much gear statistically drops for each vanilla crusader (RNG hates us all, though), and 15 would make the event chests of a lesser DPS ratio than sticking to opening the normal chests. But, point remains is that it would allow people with event crusaders to still obtain rare or even epic gear for those crusaders, and potentially allow them to become more useful for those players who have not managed to equip, say, Pam The Pilot or Larry The Leprechaun with all of their neat purple gear.

Thank you for the suggestion.

As per the AMAs on Reddit, we are working on a way to gear up event Crusaders outside of events, though during events will be a little easier.
