So I started playing this game a couple of days ago, and it would probably look smoother by NOT rounding numbers off, but instead displaying most significant digits. I tend to agree with the position of using engineering notation, but just to show how poor bad representation looks, I took a screenshot of this, with the "Royal Grail" buff:

And before someone opens their hole about how low my stats are, go re-read the first phrase of this post, then find something significant to say on the topic.

that display of very low significant digits is a glitch of some kind cause in 270 days I have never seen that ever.

oh and here is a quick reference of the notation used.
all 22 suffix letters = k M B t q Q s S o n d U D T Qt Qd Sd St O N v c = 10^3 to 10^66 by 3's. after c is scientific notation only

I've been as high as 2e104 nowhere near the highest others have been at near e200 or more i think.

The "most significant digits" issue also affects when a crusader can upgrade. The amount of gold LOOKS right, but you're still not allowed to upgrade because it's not really right yet because it's been rounded up instead.

I started another game in this genre and they had the same issue until they patched the game. Perhaps with the next patch, this could be fixed. I mean, the splash screen says it's still beta, so I'm not mad about it.

I sort of figured out everything up to "d", after seeing the same notation in another game and pondering on the significant difference between "q" and "Q". Really, engineering would look so much nicer.

(Stupid computers--can't even do maths right . . .) :-)

And my apologies for the aggressive last statement in the OP--I just finished reading a thread on a similar topic and remembered how there is a certain segment of gamers who are JERKS and would actually comment about such things. I just finished 11 hours on this game and think I'm doing pretty good so far.

they do pure scientific above e66 not even engineering subset of that.
i.e.
1.00e69 ... 9.99e69/1.00e70 ... 9.99e70/1.00e71 ... 9.99e71

instead of the much nicer and consistent with the 'groups of 3 from the letters'
1.00e69 ... 9.99e69/10.0e69 ... 99.9e69/100e69 ... 999e69 ... blah blah e72

p.s. the rounding up of numbers and the truncation of less significant digits in this game has actual effects instead of the simple display effects you mentioned.
On 2 occasions, very rare, I have had exactly 1.00eXXX DPS where XXX is some number I can't remember but just a number. Then on leveling one crusader one single level, or 10 levels, or 25 levels, or 100 levels, a crusader who has a extremely minor portion of my dps, less then a millionth of a percent, and the displayed DPS jumped up to 1.00eXXY where XXY is 1 higher then the XXX, i.e. a whole whopping factor of 10.
I think, and can't confirm, that if I didn't level anyone up at that point, and just let the game grind, I might actually have been at 1/10 of what I should have been at. The Devs can't replicate this.
