Suggestion: Crusaders Store - Rubies as Currency

This might lessen the frustration that many players have with the randomness of chest opening. The prices (in rubies) could be 300 for Uncommon, 750 for Rare and 1500 for epic, or whatever the devs think would be appropriate. The golden epics would remain as they are.

Maybe items for event crusaders could be made to be purchasable on the store only some time after their event is over, even six months later - that way those who can't wait that long for very useful gear would still feel like buying chests.

Items will always come out of chests with RNG. That wont change. If and when they make event crusaders available through a shop, they will be bought with idols or money. Rubies are only for jeweled chests and have been said by developer many times.
17 Posts	Link to post - Posted February 28th 2016 at 7:52 AM Francesco Sannino Then how about being able to purchase old events' silver chests with rubies several months after those events are over? - It would still require players to rely only on money purchases / free play resets during the event, and they would not be able to have new chances until many months afterwards, making the already existing options be the most viable way to obtain event crusaders' gear; - RNG would still be involved, since you would only be buying chests and not specific gear with rubies; - since only silver event chests would be available for purchase via rubies, players would still be unable to get epic gear (thus giving them all the same reasons to purchase jewelled ones via real money or doing free plays during events).

I was unaware that the devs had stated the only things EVER buyable with rubies would be jeweled chests. If my proposal were implemented, players would have to make a choice between buying jeweled chests with rubies (taking their chances with epics, foregoing the enchantment points, warps and other stat boosters) or saving their rubies to purchase an epic they really wanted. I suggested it, because I thought it might be an idea the devs hadn't thought of and might be popular with the players of Crusaders.

I don't think I'd shop them all, but it will be nice to know that if I really miss something I can get it with some effort. For example I often use Pete in my team, but he has 2 white items and it's really a pity. Btw, If I can suggest another thing, imho devs should consider to make a little change in the shop concerning things to buy with real money: instead of buying chests directly, it would be better if you could buy rubies instead (at the same proportional price obviously - for example getting 200 rubies would cost as much in money as getting two jewelled chests currently costs). This would be better because then they can use rubies for other purposes too: for example I think it would be better if respecs cost rubies rather than a % of idols (of course a proportionally adequate amount of rubies). I'm actually worried to use my free respecs because I don't want to lose my hardly earned idols in future if I mess up with talents... And speaking about talents, my last suggestion: imho it would be nice to have a talent similar to "Spend it all" that makes you buy all the available skills for your crusaders at once.
