Enabling multiple damage type / resistance

Hi everyone!
I may be not the most experieced player here, but so far i've noticed that the game is basically about concentrating all efforts (upgrade and formation buffs) on the most strong single crusade... And the only things to do is to identify the dps-maker (that may change due to enchantment points) and run for the objectives.

Surely missions' limitations are funny and may change the things a bit, but still the same routine... so my point is: what about adding different type of damage to our crusade (eg. crush, pierce, magic) and, on the other side, the same type of resistance (and i think that adding this only to boss fights would be fun enought)?

imho doing so will force player to have a more dinamic formation and make thing even more interesting :)

The problem with this idea is that it would eliminate the "idle" part of "idle game." The point of idle games is that you can set them up and walk away. This game is already approaching the border between idle and active, and your idea would put it into the active category.

i dont think so, it wont change the game that much; it would only move the focus from 1 crusade to 2 or 3... right now u can afk and come back to level up your cannon shooter and go afk again, adding this feature would only change the initial part of composing the formation (and maybe giving some changes to the same routine) and increase the number of clicks from 1 to 2 or 3 :)
