Idle games work best when you can accumulate money off-line. But right now the most powerful buff in the game (short-circuit) doesn't work off-line. I need to keep the game running on the desktop to get anywhere.

Wrong headline for this thread. Turkey has not broken the game. Just you who is frustrated that turkey dmg isnt on when you go off.

Which I am somewhat on the same page of opinion. I would also like to see turkey dmg work at its max when I am offline

Hi Byron,

Thanks for the note.

We're aware of the issue, because it is a formation ability like Wendy's or Jack's, it is only available online, and the designers are talking it over.

My suggestion would be to base offline gold on highest level achieved and ignore DPS. This would also make buff cards valuable in the mid-game, instead of just the endgame.

That makes no sense, Byron. That way, if you have achieved a very high level, you can simply restart any quest, go offline for a few hours, log back in and BOOM you have thousands of level for every singel crusader at area 1....

He might have meant the highest area on the current run. Sometimes the word "level" can be confusing, since it can mean "area" or "character level."

That suggestion has been made before, but the devs are not open to it. I think they feel it would require a lot of rebalancing.

I think there are many other reasons too why they are not open for it, and I support them. It is easier to implement new elements then rewrite an entire game. Also it is more exciting with new elements to any games than readjustments.
