I've become very burnt out on this game, and on maintaining this wiki. I need a break, and I don't know how long it's going to be. I know that new content was just released; I might cover it eventually if nobody else does. But for now, I need to move on.

Every once and a while, everyone needs a break. Enjoy your down time, and thank you so much for everything that you have done to help. I know that so many folks here greatly appreciate it.

I am sure that folks will step up to help with the Wiki.

Eric, thank you for all of your dedication to the Wiki site. I am sorry that I didn't learn/do more to help you, but will still update any old stuff I see that needs it. I hope it will be a mere leave of absence because it will not be the same without your diligence!

@anyone wishing to help: I have only done the one page ...for mini-golf... and some minor edits, and did it without any real computer skills. The site itself is straight forward and has lots of help pages. In other words, if I can do it, so can any of you! I am not any where near the new area, so for those if you who are, step up to the plate and add it. It doesn't have to e just one person... as any one who registers can start/make a page or edit ... Just don't overlap your work (do searches/check wiki activity to see what is already there )

Big HUG for you Eric!! Enjoy your break!

The new area will be missing unless players step up to the plate. (Can't be me... I am no where near there) The great thing about Wiki is is it pretty straight forward, and all you need do is know how to type and read! No HTML skills required. There are hints as you add things right in the edit page, tutorials, a great editor FAQ, and ease of adding things, including pictures. In a few minutes, you can be ready to start.

Should you make a mistake, anything done previously is archived for retrieval. Best of all, it need not just be one person! When you start the page, other players can make additions and edits and add pictures if you get tired or haven't finished the area so can't add more. And there are always players commenting on new areas who will help add info, so you can simply copy and paste their additions and enter them.

Collaborate with friends and do a team build! If you see something is missing, clcik edit and add it!

How do you manage to obtain the high quality images used for items?

See http://bushwhacker2.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Jason_Leslie/Making_High_Quality_Images_for_the_Wiki for a guide. I've been using JPEXS (google it) instead of the software he recommends, though. It's one program (instead of two), and it can display some images that the other software can't, such as complete pets. (Ever wonder why the images for many pets just show the head?)

OK, I can take over making the images once I have time.

(I normally hate Wikia, but it's adequate for a fairly small wiki such as this).

Thanks _Dragon. Once you've mucked around and gotten the lay of the wiki, I would be happy to help with any data gathering you may like to pass off to others. I tend to be out front on the fb bw2 game, and I'm happy to help. I can't help with working on the wiki, as I have attempted it before and screwed it up royally. I am happy to gather, name or rename image and data via screencapture - I don't have too many problems with that. If you would like to reach out, I can be found at aquafishy@gmail.com

If Dragon and Aqua fishy are willing to help, there are 2 or 3 more people there working on pages as well! That's awesome! Thanks so much to all the players who are helping. Knowing how dedicated Eric was, I bet he was gritting his teeth trying to stay away, so now he can really relax and enjoy the break and also know there will be players to help him on a regular basis should he return.

If anyone is on a page that is missing something, instead of complaining, upload a picture for the data base, add a comment with the correction or picture, and better yet, try an edit. If it is a simple correction, that's the best one to try to edit in the beginning. Go for it! (There are several URLs added above for players to read)

I added the help request to the Bigfish forums, so could any players from the other platforms do the same in their forums? The more community that gets involved the less workload it will be. (If you think helping along with several others is a burden, remember Eric was doing it virtually alone for a far too long!)

Thank you Dragon and Aqua fishy, if it is indeed you guys adding anonymously to Wiki)

Being you have the ability to work with pics, can you please add the pics I placed into the gallery for the event and the Christmas event page. I have no idea why I am having trouble now as I have added pictures successfully in the past.

I am not sure if it is because it is a different template used to make the pages, but think that must be it as I can't change (expand or move) the pictures once they are added.

Thanks again to whoever is making the infected plains update. I wish you would log in so we know who to actually thank!

I have copied the Nate's birthday page into the events list and made the page and added a few things, but still needs the decorations and the items list, please! I tried adding the template and blew it many times so will rest my "UNDO" finger!

Awesome job of making the new updates, for the 6 or more players who helped do that and have been updating and adding! If anyone is interested in making the new kaine quest, it would be appreciated as well. I am not there yet!
