Community ask since a while to fix the cool down over 50% to be transfert in your dps... I see you coming with a talent to fix it.. Why I think its a bad idea, you will lose dps to gain dps... Example, if its cost 100 idols (300% dps, 100% gold) to transfert over cd to dps you need to have 350% cd to ONLY lose 100% gold, do you understand my point, I just want you to not fail... I'm little bit disappointed by the first talents, please dont fail the next update..

People should REALLY try to understand how idols work... every time I see someone that thinks 100 idols are a 300% increase in DPS, I can't believe what I am reading. Yes, 100 idols are +300% DPS, IF AND ONLY IF you have exactly 100 idols. If you have 10000, those 100 idols that will bring you to 10100, will give you 3% DPS and 1% gold. So a talent that will transfer your excess CD reduction to DPS will be really beneficial, since there is a really high chance that the bonus from CD reduction over 50% will be multiplicative.

each idol = 3% dps and 1% gold, even if you have only 100 or 1000000000000 idols... So 100 idols = 300% dps and 100% gold regardless of how many idols you have...

But your idea to multiply the % is a great idea !!

Luukkaah, 100 idols = 300% of your *base* damage. It's not 300% of the damage that you're doing right now. That's where the confusion is.

If you have 10,000 idols and you lose 100, you're not going to see a noticeable difference. Almost anything that noticeably improves your DPS will be worth spending 100 idols at that point.

Luukkaah, you probably don't understand how idols work... each idol gives +3% DPS, true, but that does NOT mean that if you gain one idol, you damage will increase by 3% of what it CURRENTLY is. You BASE damage will. The increase from idols is applied after idols are added together, and this makes a world of difference: if you have 10000 idols and gain another 100, you damage bonus will go from +30000% to +30300%, for a net increase (percentage of your current damage) of +1%. Not a big deal, I would say. 100 idols if you have 0 of them mean +300% damage, if you have 1000 mean +10%, if you have 10000 mean +1%, and after that you can hardly notice their effect. And people with more than 50% cooldown reduction don't have less than 4k idols, so losing a few hundreds idols is quite affordable.
