So, we all know that feeling when you get duplicate gear for Panda/Princess, and you know those enchantment points will be completely wasted. Here's an idea to make them actually useful, for every Crusader, not just your main DPS: give them different effects, keying them to one of the specific crusader's abilities.

I'll try to give a few ideas for the various crusaders.

[note: every percentage increase is to be considered an increase over the BASE values given by a certain ability. For example, if enchantment points for Panda gave +1% to his Order of the Holy Coin ability, 60 points will mean a 60% increase over the base vale provided by the ability (+50% gold), for a total gold bonus of 80%, NOT 110%: 50% from the base ability and 30% for 60% of that base 50%. 100 enchantment points will basically double the effect of the ability, for this specific example]

- Bush Whacker: we all know EPs on him are totally worthless, since he gets 99.99% of his damage from Sworplay, so I would say 1 EP = +1% to Swordplay.
- Jim: generally a buffer (only people with great gear on him use him as DPS), I'd say +1% to Sharpen Party
- Werewolf: definitely a DPS crusader, 1 EP = +25% to Lone Wolf (so, basically same effect they have now, except when the Lone Wolf ability is not used due to human crusaders next to him, something you should avoid like plague anyway...)
- Sasha: buffer, +1% to Bulwark
- Hermit: +25% to Craziness (same effect they have now, being a DPS hero)
- Kaine: +1% to A-hah!, OR +1% to Magnify.
- Monkey: same thing, +1% to Magnify OR to Follow the Leader (would be good to have one on Kaine and the other one on Monkey, in order to differentiate them more - right now they are basically the same crusader)
- Princess: buffer, stands to reason to have her EPs increase party DPS. However, she has a lot of abilities, all that give a very small boost to DPS, so +1% to one of them is almost neglegible: i would say +3% to any one of the four (let's say Ignite)
- Natalie: she sees some use only as a party buffer, mostly thanks to her DPS and gold boosting items. An interesting twist would be to turn her into a DPS, having her EPs give +25% to Double Dragon, to BOTH her and Nate (and Nate's EPs will boost her ability as well), only if both are used at the same time, though. You basically combine EPs of both crusaders, fits nicely with the theme as well.
- Jack the Lantern: not terribly useful crusader, the only thing I can think of is +1% to Cry for Help.
- Jason. No idea. Absolutely nothing. Can't see any reason to use him, EVER, expecially since Pete is the alternative. MAYBE would see some uses if his EPs gave something completely different, not linked to his abilities (like +1% chance of chests on bosses), but that doesn't fit well with the rest of my suggestions...
- Pete: +1% to Bad Joke
- Lion: +1% to Roar!
- Khouri: +1% to Frog Soup OR Koffee Potion
- Gryphon: quite hard to find something for him as well, since his defining skill is Under My Wing, but you can't increase that or crusaders will take no damage after a while... I'm open to suggestions.
- Sarah: she looks like a DPS but she is awful at that, I honestly have no idea how to make her useful... same problem I have with Jason and Gryphon (and Merman...)
- Panda: straightforward: +1% to Order of the Holy Coin.
- Merman: as mentioned before, one of the only 4 crusaders I have no idea how to make useful. Like Sarah, his only use was for the Beauties and the Beasts objective, 'cause I had nothing else...
- Witch: not even worth talking about, a supposedly DPS crusader that fails miserably since she will have very few EPs, being an event character... even worse than the one she replaces, Merman, which is a quite bad himself...
- Phoenix: the obvious choice would be to improve his Vengeful Fury ability, but it needs to be considered carefully, since it may lead to him insta-killing any boss upon death...
- King: +1% to King's Command duration (I think people use him only for that skill...)
- Thalia: another crusader that is (marginally...) useful only for one of his skills, I would suggest +1% to Storm Rider's effect: considering the ability is not multiplicative, even with 100 EPs on him AND Kaine (if his EPs were to increase Magnify) it would mean a +20% DPS every 4 hours, definitely not game-breaking...
- Merci: marginally useful for Alchemy, I would say +1% to Alchemy effect (percentage heal, not duration)
- Nate: see Natalie above.

Well, that was all. Bossting skills instead of mere DPS means having EPs actually mean something, and increases even more the importance of a good formation since most crusaders are buffers, whose signature buffing skill would be further boosted by their EPs.

Let me know what you think!

Could potentially be an idol shop talent. I like it; it recycles EP on support crusaders into something actually useful. Personally don't remember seeing the thread before, so it might've been posted around the time where a lot of new replies for other threads showed up. Just saying, but all you need to say is "Bump" to push the thread back up if it was skipped over with no replies.

As for the details...Gryphon has a global dps ability that you can buff. Improving his Under My Wing would make Jack invincible. Not sure about Phoenix's Vengeful Fury buff; combine it with a formation around Jack and you basically kill off any wave with full gb(at least for triangle anyway). I guess it could make for an alternative formation rather than just straight up buffing a main DPS crusader, but idk. The rest I think are fine.

I'd be down with them implementing something like this.
