I mean I don't want to do the quest, but just in talking to him, I'm "committed". Usually, you can talk to a person and one of your reply options is "never mind".

I continued to get quest items from the Commons, but got no quest items from the Cloud Castle. Of course, I also don't get puzzle pieces I need for the Flux and I really don't like that at all.

Just stop if you don;t like that mini event and go back to the flux or whatever. one way to avoid all that, is to never start anything other then those things you want to do.

What I am saying is that I didn't get daily Quest items from the Cloud Castle inhabitants while whacking in the Carnival Field. I DID get daily Quest items from the Commons inhabitants. Since I can get Commons & Cloud Quest items in the Flux, I should also be able to get Commons & Cloud Castle Quest items in the Carnival Field. I know I can quit the side Quest, but I want whatever "Awesome" trinket is rewarded. Having to whack two places to fulfill the Daily Quests eats up all my energy for the morning and I like to turn in before noon to get an 8 a.m. reset time. And I hate using my saved energy and I hate not getting puzzle pieces. Sure hope this trinket is worth it.
3620 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 22nd 2015 at 1:09 PM Last Edited October 22nd 2015 at 2:58 PM Erika/Alyniana @ Ruth: For NPCs with no "Never mind" option, you can turn down the quest by just walking away from them without clicking on the "Tell Me More" option. @ Peggy: Since the Future Commons isn't the Cloudland or the Flux, yes, you won't get Cloudland quest hub items there. Cloudland quest hub items are only in Cloudland and its related areas or the Flux, if available.

Both cloud and hermit quests state specifically where those can be done. and pretty soon, cloud quests might not even be doable at all. We do ot know if they will be doable in the next zone or not, i.e. be more like the hermits or less like that. All we know is that they are doable in the clouds, and the flux, and future fluxes/

Haven't done the Hermit Quest in a long time anyway and very happy Cloud Castle Quests are doable in the Flux. I just prefer when a side Quest can be done in the area you're whacking in at the time. But still fun or I wouldn't have lasted here so long.
