I was wondering what we can use the gold coins for...so I did a forum search and can only find reference to expanding the ranch. Is that all? I have 3.9 million coins and wish I could buy Bush Bucks or energy packs or something useful to me. I don't really do anything with the ranch anymore (am frankly a little bored with the game, but can't seem to stop playing!). And yes, I've looked in the store--all they have are the trinkets, which I find frustrating, because there are so many to go through! Anything else I can get with these? Thanks...

you can also spend a few million gold, and perhaps 6 diamonds worth of gems, on the amicus island wandering merchants things.

but runes it the way to use gold effectively.

As others have said: Once you've maxed out the ranch and have the splicing station, alchemy is pretty much the only thing to spend gold on.

I average 4M per month crafting runes, though, so it can be a good way to get rid of gold. Still trending upwards even with that monthly outlay, though.
