Not getting right amount of energy when leveling up.
Lvl 389 "Is Puzzled" 316 Posts	Link to post - Posted July 5th 2015 at 1:54 PM deblev53 Thought I'd post before putting a ticket in.I activated the VIP Levelers boon. It states "When you level up, you'll receive a full bar's worth of energy, regardless of your current energy." I've leveled 5 times but have not received double energy, which I think I should have with the normal bar full and the VIP one. Anyone using this and getting double amount? Thanx.

I was really low and was going to use my small energy packs when the reminder of being too close to leveling popped up, so I only used a few, and had maybe 130 energy left. When I leveled, it I think, gave me the remainder to fill the bar and then the levelers boon should have also filled it again, if not, it's a complete waste of a token or voucher.I'm really confused, ha. Any Dev's around?
Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted July 5th 2015 at 3:47 PM Raymond and when it comes to the 10% and 25% and 'full' energy packs, the actual 'base energy' is exactly 40 + 10 times your level plus any event ribbons, but not any trinket, rune, pet or mount energy max increasers. Add +20 to this if you selected a certain permanent thing in the Desert.

Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted July 5th 2015 at 4:25 PM Raymond to reiterate and clarify. suppose your base energy is 3500 and you have 100 energy when you level up, the levelers boom will give you the 3510 of the next level and the 100 you have for 3610 total. if on the other hand you had 3400 energy and leveled up then you would have the 3510+3400 , so in theory you could have double. you should have had a lot of energy. are you sure the levelers boom was in effect at the time?

Yes, I used a voucher and just now have 3 days left out of the 5.I thought I should have double, otherwise why bother using one when you get a full energy bar for leveling anyway.I suppose I will have to put a ticket in to figure this out unless a dev happens to pop in between now and morning. Thanx for your feedback.

65 Posts	Link to post - Posted July 6th 2015 at 9:41 AM Finieous The reason to use the voucher is so you get the level-up energy REGARDLESS of how much energy you currently have. Without the voucher, you almost always lose some of the level-up energy because your energy bar doesn't have enough room to hold the bonus energy. Normal level-up energy won't go past your soft cap (i.e., the denominator on your energy bar). With the boon, you always get the level-up energy (which Raymond describes how to calculate) even when it pushes past that cap. If you're used to operating in the over-cap region, then you never get level-up energy anyway... so the boon is nice for those situations.

The Leveller's Boon is for those players who tend to forget they are close to leveling up, and go harvest crops or use energy packs and then level up. In a normal situation, if you leveled up without the boon active, you would only be filled to max energy, so if you were close to max, that extra energy bar is essentially wasted. If you're down near 300, 400 when you level up, then it's not as obvious that you didn't lose that energy. Erika

I don't know about you, but I only get the pop up if I'm close to leveling, almost out of energy and try to use a large amount.If I already have a lot on my bar, no pop up. Anyway, thanx for your help, much appreciated. :)
