So I've noticed that using the Sonic Fishing rod trinket, that sometimes my wait time is greatly reduced and I can pull up a cast wihtin a couple of seconds, however, I will always miss the catch because, correspondingly it appears that the Sonic Rod also reduces the player response time to reel in the catch.

This is happening a lot more frequently now that we have the new new Meaty baits.
