jpl77So apparently there is a technique, procedure or glitch (call it what you will), whereby players are able to get casino puzzle pcs at an increased rate, an order of magnitude of 5x the drop rate (or in 1/5 the amount of spins).
Does anyone know about this? I've never heard of it, but like to open the floor to discussion, because according to someone this has been a "secret" shared for over 8+ months. ps: my technique for the casino is spin a lot, bet x10 at the gem slots |

Kate (aquafishy)I have no idea what this glitch is - I always bet 10 at the topaz dreams as that gives me the best puzzle piece result. Who is getting better odds? Or are they just being troublemakers?

Raymond3 days in a row I got puzzle pieces and casino tokens, as opposed to the usual 4 or 5 weeks between any of those things ever.
wither a random number glitch of very suspicious nature, or... |

FinieousLast Edited January 18th 2015 at 8:13 PM I haven't been tracking my odds, or even keeping count of how often I spin daily. I usually spin the gem machine (at x10) until I get the daily tokens, and then spin a little longer hoping for puzzle pieces. I generally finish a puzzle every 2-3 weeks, though. I seem to burn through a very small handful kilocitrines per day.
The only "trick" would be using -100% Nothing runes, since it works on the casino as well as bushes. Not a significant difference... more of a psychological boost. Edit: Just re-read that it looks like Raymond said he normally has 4-5 weeks between prize tokens on the gem machine. That is mind-boggling. I spin until I get the 2 tokens, every day, without fail. It's usually very quick. I tracked a very bad streak once at ~3000 citrines (300+ spins), but that is very rare. Usually I don't even notice a change in my citrine count by the time I've won the daily prize tokens. It's the puzzle pieces that are harder to get (and why I keep spinning). |

Kate (aquafishy)I agree Finieous - I do pretty much the same thing, though I do the amicus token machine as well, spinning at x5 - if I don't get the casino tokens within a few spins I try later in the day and I usually manage to get them daily. I always spin on the gem machine at least until I get the daily tokens.

RaymondLast Edited January 18th 2015 at 9:36 PM I spin perhaps 20 on each of the 4 machines daily. yes.
that's why it takes forever. and that's why 3 days in a row tokens and puzzle pieces is so totally unbelievable. but it's more then just that. |

jpl77TY Finieous.
I do the same Aqua with the Island tokens, I use the x5 times but usually only spend down to 100 tokens as you can only keep 200 in your inventory (I keep 100 so as to have some energy in the next updates) Ray, you spend 20 BB on the BB slot a day?! And you are not getting rewards from it?! |

FinieousLast Edited January 18th 2015 at 11:07 PM The BB machine doesn't have a "nothing" result... I hope he's winning something from it :)
I stopped playing the island token machine. Since I'm just playing for prize tokens to buy pets (to release for DNA), I finally decided it was just easier to use the island tokens directly to buy the island pet instead. The gem machine usually keeps my island token count pretty high. Nowadays, the only thing I *want* from the casino is the puzzle pieces, since that provides alchemy dust (which seems to be my limiting resource... other than play time, of course). |

FinieousInteresting. Did you compare the results of the two "identical" machines to determine that they behaved differently? I'd be very interested in the results.

FinieousI'm confused. Are you saying that you are doing something special to achieve these unprecedented results, or that you have just observed them?

Marci WilsonI gave up ages ago... When it first came out I was totally stoked because I was winning Bush Bucks, puzzle pieces, tokens, etc, AND it was a great way to rid myself of all those pesky agates...
Now? What do I win?? MORE agates... never anything but agates.... spin after spin.. thousands of agates later.... still MORE agates... ugh.. |

Raymondthere's a puzzle 'table' to the lower left of the casino part of the island. you get great rewards from a complete puzzle. hence the reason that they are really hard to come by. it's a 64 piece puzzle
