He should be the last one to need holiday help. That is probably why you did not get the pop up. Check under your Event Progress page to see if it has been checked off. My guess is that it has not. Under the achievements page in my profile, that achievement has no indication of progress made at all, it only shows that it is available.

I've currently got my Large Energy Pack storage maxed out at 25 but I'll gladly make some room if there is likely to be one or more in the presents.

But I think it was a custom item only. This year perhaps various kinds of box of chocolates like from the last Nates quest, 75% and 50% energy refills.
