I think someone mentioned that to best use a pet treat you should use it on a low level pet. other then that I can't imagine what you mean other then perhaps the last event?

I thought it was applying to the pet I had on board at that moment, but apparently I need to equip a new pet and go to the stables to get the prize (automatically levels a pet to lvl 15).

There is no need to equip a low level pet for Kaine's mission, as the pet treat earned at the end can be applied to any low level pet at any time. All you have to do is equip it, give it the treat, and it auto levels to 15.

Lvl 371 "Finder-outer" 579 Posts	Link to post - Posted September 29th 2013 at 8:46 AM Ruth Orozco Thanks, Marci and Michelle...I did change my pet before I finished the quest, then changed to another whose "ability" I wanted more (not that any of these seem to make difference at all...) just before talking to the farm hand. And apparently we can save the treat(s) indefinitely--doesn't have to be used right away.
