I saw a quick attack hit after a switch once. I'm not really sure if it was a glitch or just a result of the large difference in default speeds between the guardians...

As to the devs' motives, I think they're just being cautious in how they release things in the game. Their logic is probably that: if a player has reached 25 with many of their guardians already by this point, the player is probably very good at the game, so the gym is intentionally hard to slow said players down. By the time the normal players catch up, a new installment will likely be out, raising the cap again.

what you said was already said before nate, the cap is going to happen to all players or only to us that are in the lv cap, because if it is only to us because of the lv cap, isnt fair at all, because when the game go further and there are more updates, the lv cap would change, i already give an idea to control this lv cap an people stop arguing about it too, but remember that is the choice of the gamer how he wants to play and how much time he want to spend lv his guardians, the least we ask is to be able to lv our guardians to the lv of the gym leader, that if im correct hes guardians are lv 30, and besides i know a lot of people think that only have like 4 lvs for guardians open after the sof t and big cap of first release is nothing in reality.

I agree the cap should be raised. I'm at level 24 with my strongest Guardian now, and being stuck at 25 when I'm fighting level 28s hardly seems fair. Especially when you don't have Crabbicle. Tsktsk is good, but we fought tukker at level 14; what gives at the lack of evolution??

Why are you so much beating a dead horse? This is just numbers.

I can basically copy and paste from the first page here: "I think, that is a good way to make gyms challenging. [...] As a player you can always use potions, switch Guardians, etc... why not have those gym trainers have higher level Guardians?"

And the gym leader was really easy (for my Guardians at least; three were enough). Even the level 30 Gembler was easy prey to Crabbicles Water Cannon. I think the Yeti was much harder... and you're fine with it just because the Yeti is level 25? His real level would probably be 70 or something.

The gym leader also has five Guardians (one of the other trainers in the gym has five Guardians too) and we can not have five yet. Who cares? What matters is that the gym leader is somewhat challenging. And giving them higher level and/or more Guardians is much better than making them switch Guardians and use potions in my opinion.

No offense intended, it's just what I think.

if you go to first page of this post you can see all my comments and reasons why we should be able to lv out more than just to lv 25, and one more thing i even ofered ideas to control those lvs caps, and lasyn in another post have made another ideas for the over exp we get when we are in soft and hard cap, theres always methods to implement and let the players be happy.
