Raymondsee the 4 possible next leveling up attributes? one will be chosen. they are 25% each unless you feed to change one. do not willy nilly feed all your feeds as you will hurt yourself, use one kind of feed to make one go up and the others go down a little.

Marci WilsonThanks guys... it was never mentioned anywhere, and I had tried to click the items earlier with no effect. I guess that you can only use a food item that corresponds to the four attributes that are sitting in queue for the next level up. I chose an item that did this time, and a pop up came up showing what was clicked and whether or not to continue.

Erika/AlynianaLast Edited May 2nd 2015 at 4:44 PM Hi Guys,
Sorry to hear that mount feed is a bit confusing. As with anything new though, there are growing pains. We do mention how to feed the mounts in the FAQ in the blog. As well, when you talk to Clint under the question "Can I affect the odds of the bonuses?", he tells you how to feed them. Erika |

Twg KingMy first three mounts I tamed have a whacking bonuses of -5% odds to win nothing and 50% character speed. Are the three horse varieties one can tamed have the same whacking bonuses of -5% odds to win nothing and 50% character speed?

Raymondaccording to the blog entry pointed to in the first entry of this topic
"Every mount starts with a speed bonus and a fixed odds bonus of some sort." perhaps nothings has a higher then average occurrence among the 8 fixed odds bonuses. |

Erika/AlynianaHi Twg,
Yes, the tamed mounts will come with -5% Nothings as the starting bonus. All mounts come with the +50% Speed bonus. Erika |

BlujiThe /tamed/ mounts start with -5% Nothings. But the /bought/ mounts? That's a whole different story - they're still mounts, though.

Erika/AlynianaHi Raymond,
The blog says "Every mount starts with a speed bonus and a fixed odds bonus of some sort". Every meaning tamed and purchased. The premium mounts that have gone up for sale have had different bonuses. Erika |

Twg KingJust a suggestion: Why not the mount one purchase, have a starting fixed odds of 10% of whacking bonuses and a character speed of 100%. Also, it will be nice if one can also earn VIP tokens for purchasing a mount.

LadyWizardSome reason looks like the rng on mount color is broken for me right now... all last horse taming it was the tan/palomino skin now at 3 of 4 all was palomino again I was actually hoping for a black since I already have one brown and one palomino.

RaymondLast Edited May 23rd 2015 at 8:42 PM not wrong at all.
you have a 22% chance to have gotten all 3 in 3 tries. 44% for it to take 4 tries. 61% for it to take 5... you don't have even 90% toll you have actually tried 9 horses. now that's not exactly what you are asking. but to have a different one you only have a 66% chance by the 2'nd try, 88% by the 3'rd try, 95% by the 4'th meaning there's a one in 20 chance of not getting it till after that. and anything not certain can and does happen. this is a classic 'coupon collector' problem and a very good simulator of that is at the following site http://www.math.uah.edu/stat/applets/CouponCollectorExperiment.html have you never had a 95% certain rune combine actually fail, and a 5% certain rune combine actually pass, or a 90% crop research ail or a 10% crop research pass. shit happens. |

LadyWizardRaymond what I mean is past SEVEN tries have all been the exact same color even if 6 were the precursor fails... compared to my first mount was something like brown tan black brown for the four tries... so basically has been tan fail, tan fail, tan fail, tan capture, tan fail, tan fail, tan fail, ???(still working on final fodder)

Raymondthe colors of intermediate 'fails' mean absolutely nothing. and by now at most one can only have had only 3 actual mount successes. and 3 is nothing when it comes to getting different colors as shown by the numbers above.

BlujiThe speech bubbles featuring the "Taming with Amaranth" quests all state it as "Amareth".

Raymondwhat's up with the oats, rye and buckwheat feeds? I never had the opportunity to feed them to my mount and have used 15 hay seeking to just see any of those to happen.
