Leona VirgoIf you have problems harvesting the flowers/trees while on a mount, just dismount before trying.

RaymondLast Edited May 10th 2015 at 11:03 AM the quest itself, I'm told (already done so can't check), said in the icon on the quest bar, said it would end at Noon Sunday.
was it mentioned in the community page? I thought I looked in the forums, and the game wall, and the game blog, and the town crier's blurb and everywhere myself. so the real request is to post that it is happening when something is happening, you know... not everyone notices errant npc's in the commons when not doing their dailies, not everyone even perhaps checks the farmer if they don't do those quests... |

Marci WilsonI seem to remember that there was a pop up upon logging in that there was a Mother's Day mission that ended at Noon PST on Sunday...
Regarding boosting the rate of quest item drops, there is a way to do this through trinkets and pets. I switch my pet to the highest level for quest items, then as many trinkets that boost quest items as I can to help.. even with my daily missions. I am usually able to collect all quest items in a very short period of time. Once all items are collected, I switch my pet and trinkets back to gain puzzle pieces, mana, and energy-to help speed along flux progress. |

LadyWizardLast Edited May 10th 2015 at 5:48 PM Marci what I mean is even my horse feed quests were done BEFORE quests 3-5 on the mother's day which trinkets wouldn't've helped. I completely finished the special custom seeds before mother's day items finished dropping also in the quests 3-5(quest 1 and 2 I got via larges)

Eric KuritzkyWhen you ask Old MacDonald about the various types of seeds you can get from his quest, he tells you their yield and how long they take to grow. He doesn't tell you the seed cost. What are the costs of the different kinds of seeds?

Raymondi believe that they are no cost. like the super blueberries are no cost and the mushrooms are no cost and the magic beans are no cost.
these are like a gift. plant as many as you can for as long as you can until there are no more which is May 30'th I think. |

jeankahnUnfortunately, you have to pay for the seeds--I went with the long time & large energy & the cost is 240 gold for 20 hr and 160 energy--not worth it

Raymondoh. that's why I said 'I believe'.
I am not doing any 'special' crops other then the occasional magic beans. I am working on getting my 3'rd and 4'th crops researched to level 10, second for me happens in a few hours. |

Marci WilsonLast Edited May 13th 2015 at 3:09 PM 240 for 160 yield in 20 hours is actually not bad, if you consider the cost and reward for other fruit that you can plant...
The large/ long time seeds is a yield of 8 energy per hour at a cost of 1.5 coins per unit of energy.... See how that compares to the fruit that you would normally plant... http://bushwhacker2.wikia.com/wiki/Farming Name/ Time to Grow/ Cost/ Cost per/ Energy/ Earnings Strawberries/ 1 hour/ 8 Gold/ 2 Gold/ 4 Energy/ (4/hour) Pineapple/ 8 hours/ 30 Gold/1.7 Gold/ 18 Energy/ (2.25/hour) Watermelon/ 20 hours/ 69 Gold/1.4 Gold/ 48 Energy/ (2.4/hour) Blueberries/ 45 minutes/ 10 Gold/2 Gold/ 5 Energy/ (6.67/hour) Grapes/ 4 hours/ 37 Gold/1.7 Gold/ 22 Energy/ (5.5/hour) Passion Fruit/ 16 hours/ 122 Gold/ 1.4 Gold/ 85 Energy/ (5.31/hour) Raspberries/ 40 minutes/ 12 Gold/ 2 Gold/ 6 Energy/ (9/hour) Cantaloupe/ 6 Hours/ 75 Gold/1.7 Gold/ 45 Energy/ (7.5/hour) Honeydew/ 24 hours/ 172 Gold/ 1.4 Gold/ 120 Energy/ (5/hour) Kiwifruit/ 48 hours/ 382 Gold/ 1.8 Gold/ 207 Energy/ (4.31/hour) Figs/ 36 hours/ 308 Gold/ 1.8 Gold/ 172 Energy/ (4.78/hour) Blackberry/ 10 hours/ 105 Gold/ 1.4 Gold/ 76 Energy/ (7.6/hour) Crab Apple/ 2 hours/ 52 Gold/ 3.25 Gold/ 16 Energy/ (8/hour) Red Currant/ 18 hours/ 178 Gold/ 1.65 Gold/ 108 Energy/ (6/hour) so.... in reality, it is actually one of your better value yields.... |

Russel Dentonthe spring event is rigged, I went to vote for some gardens and the same one kept on popping up all the time, heres a idea for next years spring event why not have another section for just recently posted garden photos in the last x-amount of hours so everyone has a chance of getting voted instead of the same gardens all the time

Raymondhere's how it was explained to me. but first I like your way better the the current 'rigged' one.
all entries, upon first submission are rated 1400. the voting is similar to chess elo rating. and there is a 'threshold' of 1300 below which one shouldn't see an entry. so any entry can be seen but eventually the bad ones fall out of sight. did you know you can see the number of votes for an entry by holding your mouse over one? well next year I'll be voting for every underdog. I kind of did that ,and also voted randomly for many left hand ones then many right hand ones... |

RaymondI also think the random number generator that chooses the ones to display is wrong. somehow I think it's not a uniform distribution among all entries over the threshold, but somehow weighted to the rating value of an entry. i.e. one with a rating of 2000 will be seem much more often then one with a rating of 1500. perhaps that;s part of elo, I have not digested the wiki entry on that fully yet.
